Our original room smelled like cigarettes because it was next to a smoking room. To the credit of the staff however, they allowed us to move to another room.
Positives: We liked the fridge in our room for keeping water cold.
Negatives: Our room stank like cigarettes.

Best Western Country Inn did surpass my expectations. The facilities were much nicer than I remember Best Westerns being. It was a nice place in a nice and quiet neighborhood. It is a bit out of the way from everything but the drive was not to bad.
Positives: The room was much nicer than expected and breakfast was very nice.
Negatives: Could change breakfast variety daily.

Overall this hotel served its purpose. Next time I will go for the non-smoking room. It would have been nice to have a gym to workout in, but this best western had comfortable beds, a refrigerator/microwave and a pretty nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
Positives: This hotel was basic but comfortable, the continental breakfast worked out perfect.
Negatives: The only complaint would be no gym and the bad smell in the smoking room.

Overall it was an okay hotel. But I went to rest and get a goodnight sleep. The hotel is pet friendly I love pets but not being next to their dog park so they can potty, I was awoken all hours of the night and early morning from barking dogs and little kids screaming, I would have had a better experience maybe if my room wasn't next to the doggie park.
Positives: The bathtub was good sized the room was nice.
Negatives: My room was next to the dog potty area and did not get sleep because of barking dogs and loud kids.

Loved this hotel it was clean and so quiet. The facilities are modern with comfortable beds. Poway is a lovely city and this hotel makes a great place to stay.

Very nice and cozy room with a microwave and refrigerator. Excellent continental breakfast with eggs. Good location with many stores nearby.
