We were very disappointed when we were denied to be moved to a one bed room; I'm here with my wife and we had to sleep in separate beds since they are just big enough for 1 person. Parking is Too Expensive even for self parking $18.00.
Positives: Clean and easy to find close to freeways and shopping.
Negatives: They aren't customer driven if you book through 3rd party.

Overall, the hotel was very nice. The staff was quick with every request and very accommodating. The in room dining was delivered right on time and was very good. There was not any sort of a view, but the proximity to Old Town Pasadena made the location ideal.
Positives: Great location, very clean, good sized room. Parking valets were very helpful and accommodating.
Negatives: The bathroom in the room was poorly configured and very small. In order to open the door of the bathroom, you had to straddle the toilet.

above average, but just barely
Positives: Lobby and entry way are well done. The people are very friendly, unfortunately there were some mistakes made, but they were very friendly.
Negatives: walls were paper thin

Superb staff (very friendly, efficient and courteous), great location, very well managed. One important thing: this hotel doesn't treat you as a second class guest just because you've booked your room through priceline
Positives: Superb staff (very friendly, efficient and courteous), great location, very well managed.
Negatives: Hard to find any.

Have to pay for hotel parking. Pasadena prohibits overnight on-street parking, doesn't put up adequate signage to that effect, and gives $46 tickets! Beware! (Avoid Pasadena if you can...spend your money elsewhere.).
Positives: Front desk staff.
Negatives: Very poor soundproofing between rooms.

Convenient, upscale hotel.
Positives: Convenient, upscale hotel.
Negatives: Cost for over night parking at $24 seemed high.

This hotel disappointed me right from the moment I checked in, the very unfriendly lady staff at the check-in was not very welcoming, doesn't have enough patience to explain the things to the customers. Though I paid for the parking had hard time to take my car out of the parking because I didn't have the parking receipt with me, I need to convince the parking attendant I forgot the receipt in my room then he called the front desk and let me out, this painful experience let me felt like I am staying at Hilton or some cheap motel. My calls were never answered when I called the front desk. I need to go the front desk my self to any help.
Positives: Location of the hotel.
Negatives: I didn't like the unfriendly staff, the room service, they charged me for parking 30$ with over head of keeping the ticket with me to go out of the hot.

Staff is great just was expecting the inside to be a whole lot better.
Positives: Was expecting something more for a 3 1/2 star hotel.
Negatives: They charge for parking.

This hotel must have had its glory days somewhere in the past, and while there have certainly been updates to improve its appearance, it still shows some wear and tear. I was surprised at this, considering it was a Hilton.
Positives: I appreciated the coffee/tea service in the room.
Negatives: There was no refrigerator in the room.

Nice appointed room with good work station. Very comfortable.
Positives: The location is perfect for anyone.
Negatives: Self parking is a long way from lobby, with no elevator.

I was extremely satisfied with all of the amenities available to us during our stay at the Hilton. I will definitely reserve a room at the Pasadena Hilton on my next trip to that area.
Positives: I was very impressed with the cleanliness of our room and the entire hotel and the friendliness of the staff!
Negatives: Not applicable.

Nice for star level. We got good price via priceline for this star level (Friday-Sat nights).

I stayed on an off for 6 weeks. Hotel is consistently clean, staff helpful. Love the beds. Normally I'm a fan of Westin heavenly bed - these beds are right up there - if not better (and in those 6 weeks I also stayed at the Pasadena Westin). Quiet, and nice bar area that they use as a restaurant for Lunch and Dinner. Fast room service. Quick housekeeping services. Great shower pressure. Coffee in room. Nice thick towels.
Positives: Beds very comfortable with 4 pillows and huge Flat screen TV.
Negatives: Internet pay - small bathrooms with doors that open into the small bathroom.

A fine Hilton property with clean, quiet, and well- appointed rooms and a fine staff in a great location in Pasadena. Culture, great food, and fascinating architecture are are all nearby, and the hotel's car will take you back and forth to all of them. I'll be back.
Positives: Great room, friendly staff, local shuttle, and the Thursday jazz.
Negatives: Nothing not to like.

Hotels should have complimentary internet access in all rooms. And the cost the charge is too expensive. I was also told that because I was using a debit card versus a credit card that there would be a large hold on my card. This was very frustrating.
Positives: The staff was very helpful..
Negatives: Being charged for internet access as well as a hold on my card because it was a debit card.

The Pasadena Hilton is a very nice hotel. Courteous service, nice rooms, a small, but nice pool area, a nice restaurant and lounge area complete with Live Jazz on Thursday nights.
Positives: The staff was exceptionally attentive. I was recovering from a surgery and they asked about me all the time.
Negatives: I did not like the odor of the sheets and towels.

This hotel was conveniently located to shopping, restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room smelled bad, no mini fridge were the main problems. There was a $10 per night charge to get a fridge. Very small bathroom. Nice lobby and bar area, good outdoor area off of the bar for smokers.
Positives: I liked the bar and outdoor area, valet parking was good.
Negatives: Room smelled musty, bad view, no robe, and no mini fridge.

The hotel was nice and clean. Our room was smaller than expected but still manageable for 2 adults and 2 children.

Negatives: The walls are thin, you can hear next door.

A<BR/>good hotel - very good service.
Positives: Convenience to Pasadena and a lovely hotel.
Negatives: We could have been given a nicer room - one not overlooking the roof/parking lot.

This is not really a 4 star hotel. More like a 3 star.
Positives: Comfortable bed and bedding.
Negatives: Tiny bathroom, broken thinngs in room, uninviting pool.

Forget the 3 1/2 star, it's 3 stars - if that. Although once a great hotel with upscale tendencies, the Hilton is in need of an upgrade. Too many stains in the carpet, an AC system that draws polluted air from outside just like a Motel 6, no refrigerator or microwave in your room, no breakfast buffet - just a restaurant. And design ticks - like the new bathtubs which protrude so far into the bathroom that you can't fully open the door. Nevertheless, it's a decent hotel for the area.
Positives: Good location.
Negatives: Parking, no frig in room, loud AC.

OK, but not great. Room was very small. Bathroom even smaller - 2 people could not use the bathroom/mirror/vanity at the same time. Pillows were FABULOUS!
Positives: It was convenient to our destination.
Negatives: No free parking available - only pd. overnight with no elevator or valet (pd)

Outstanding staff response from arrival through departure, including excellent cleaning and room-care, more than made up for cramped bathroom.
Positives: Excellent
Negatives: Small bathroom.

Do not go here. Their customer service is awful. If you complain or try to fix the situation they basically say there is nothing they can do for you. They charged for valet without telling me about a charge. I've never seen such an ugly yellow in a 3 star hotel with the smallest beds possible. The whole room was tiny, as well as the bathroom.
Positives: I liked that it was close to downtown Pasadena.
Negatives: Their customer service was the worst I have ever received and they charge for valet without telling you.
