Totally worth the price I paid. I was in town to attend a conference at the Huntington Library. Very welcoming and comfortable.
Positives: Easy going staff. Nice pool, spa, and work out area.
Negatives: Parking policy. Would rather have in and out privileges when parking myself. Though valet was decent.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in its beauty and appeal. It was also a fun place to stay with our kids.
Positives: The hotel was beautiful and well appointed. The leisure activities for the family were great!
Negatives: There was no refrigerator in the room and we had to pay for parking.

We really liked this hotel. However, getting charged for internet use in this day and age is a bit ridiculous when you can stay at a Comfort Inn and it is included. Parking charges are also objectionable but not as egregious as the internet use charges.
Positives: Very pretty grounds.
Negatives: Charges for internet and parking.

Rooms are nicely decorated with high thread count linens. Room is well appointed with modern furnishings and huge LCD TV.
Positives: Updated modern amenities and customer service.
Negatives: Wireless not available had to be connected to the high speed data cable.

Distinctive hotel, well located in Downtown Pasadena. Gift shop will custom-order newspapers (Financial Times, for instance). Excellent bedding, which is something Westin excels at. Padadena seems almost unique in offering three quality mid-size, but full-service hotels – Westin, Hilton and Sheraton. All are recommended, but don’t pass up the Westin if the price is favorable.
Positives: Nice rooms, expansive public spaces, attentive staff, in-room safe.
Negatives: Expensive breakfast, & no breakfast buffet.

I booked 2 rooms altogether at the same time. And when we check-in they gave us 2 handicap rooms, those were the only rooms they have.
Positives: Nice and big hotel.
Negatives: $14.00 for overnight parking was a little too much.

Very good location, clean updated rooms, friendly staff, and nice lobby areas.
Positives: Very clean rooms and lobby, helpful, and friendly staff.
Negatives: Parking was a little difficult.

Overall, I liked this hotel. The bar is small and sort of cozy. There is a collection of books in the lobby for hotel guests to borrow. This is unique and a great idea. It's in a great location in downtown Pasadena - a short walk from the Pasadena City Hall, light rail, movie multiplex and lots of restaurants.
Positives: The room was well laid out, good location too.
Negatives: The floors and walls of the hallways were drab - some litter in the hallways too.

Very nicely located. Room and bed are very comfy. Huge bathroom. You will need to expect to pay for parking and for Internet. The total of the two will run you around $20 total per day.
Positives: Convenient location in Pasadena. Very clean and comfy bed.
Negatives: Have to pay for wireless Internet and for parking.

All in all great location, near subway, Paseo Colorado and old town Pasadena as well as the 134. It is only 10 minutes to Burbank/movie studios and about 15-20 minutes to downtown la going via the 110. Good sized rooms that are clean and comfortable.

Negatives: I

It's convenient to most down town Pasadena attractions, room was quiet and for the most part clean. Everything that was supposed to work worked, but there was mold on the door in the bathroom and mold on one of the light fixtures in the bathroom as well just needed a little more attention to detail in the bathroom and this would have been an A1 place to stay. Beds were very comfortable.
Positives: Checkin was easy, room was nice.
Negatives: Hate paying for parking in addition to the night stay.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was stylish. Starbucks coffee in the room was so-so, but the tea was great. Very clean. Would definitely stay again.
Positives: The room was fantastic.
Negatives: $8 daily parking fees. No indication wireless was not free. Hotel charged, but then removed after complaint.

The Westin has a nice location near the center of town and is located at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains (?). The rooms are immaculate as is the rest of the hotel. The only thing I didn't care for was for a hotel its size, the three small elevators are not adequate - be prepared for substantial waits - especially at "rush hour."
Positives: centrally located; hotel looks almost new
Negatives: no freebies at this place

The Westin Pasadena was a very clean and modern hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms while on the small side, were very comfortable and offered nice views of Pasadena. One of the best amenities was the free shuttle into town. There was valet parking for a fee, with in/out privileges. We would definitely stay there in the future.
Positives: Clean and attractive modern rooms with very comfortable bedding and
Negatives: Hotel restaurant very expensive especially for breakfast, service was top rate.

Must use valet parking. Pets allowed. When we called for shoe shine service, the shoes were not serviced.
Positives: Location, bed comfort, concierge.
Negatives: Mold in shower, dust in room, diner overpriced.
Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 04 Feb 2009 rated 9 out of 10.
Refined and quiet conferance activities away from general lobby and bar area.
Positives: Clean quiet short waalk to resturants and activities.
Negatives: No breakfast ( typical in better hotels).

The location was great, the staff were friendly. Loved the hotel shuttle van that would ferry you to and from anywhere in the area. Frustrated by the lack of hours for the business center (not 24 hours) no access before 7 AM or later in the evening. Frustrated by the extra charge for use of the internet, when the business center was available. Basic amenities (shampoo, conditioner, lotion) were in the room however not replenished everyday, other amenities were available by calling the front desk - which I found inconvenient.
Positives: The bed and bedding were 1st class comfortable.
Negatives: The business centre is not open enough hours (early or late).
