Although this is an older property, it is well maintained. Rooms are very nice and beds are exceptional. The location is within a mile to Stanford and close to everything. Nice staff. Great pool area. Parking is $10/day extra.

Positives: Location and great beds.

Negatives: Nothing.

Disappointing stay.

Positives: Location walkable to Palo alto down town. Great beds.

Negatives: Thin walls, loud maids who wake up early and bang on doors.

I enjoyed the theme of the hotel. Our room over-looked a beautiful lagoon, and the breakfast dining area overlooking the pool was beautiful and relaxing. The beds were a little too hard, but the pillows were very comfortable.

Positives: The outdoor areas were very serene and unique.

Negatives: We were woken by the maid at 8:00 am despite leaving a sign on the door. She knocked several times.

Overall, room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Wireless should be free like other 3 star hotels (Residence Inn by Marriott). Elevator 1 was out of service 1st day when<BR/>I checked in so a little inconvenient since my room was on the 4th floor plus ice-machine out of order on our floor during my 2 day stay.

Positives: Very close and convenient to Stanford University.

Negatives: Swimming pool not heated.

This hotel is in a great location, has plenty of on site restaurants, the staff is friendly, parking is only $10, and the room was nice and a decent size.

Positives: Great location, next to Stanford.

Negatives: The gym was in a little small.

Hotel was great, staff was super friendly and prompt with dealing with our heating issue - unfortunately heat only worked temporarily.

Positives: It was beautiful - nice atmosphere. Great staff.

Negatives: Heat in our room would have been nice!

Positives: The Beds.

Negatives: Excluding the room, the over all feel of the hotel did not seem modern.

I would recommend this hotel. It was comfortable and in a good location for travelers within the Palo Alto-Redwood City area.

Positives: Central location.

Negatives: The bathroom was small and the fixtures were loose and some wallpaper peeling.

Nice hotel for the business traveler. Rooms were nicely appointed and in good condition. Staff are friendly and professional. Internet access is separately charged (approx $10/24 hours). The Cal Train railroad runs just off the back of the hotel, so rooms on the back are exposed to the noise from the trains.

Positives: Rooms were comfortable, clean and in good condition; friendly staff.

Negatives: Rooms along back of hotel are adjacent to an active railroad track, which can be sleep disruptive.

Good location, close to Stanford. Room is small, both beds are too soft. Walls are paper thin, can hear phone conversation next room. Popcorn ceiling remains after remodeling, don't know why. On the plus side, the down comforter is really comfortable. The remodeled bathroom is nice although small, granite counter, new wall tiles, new shower curtains. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful.

Positives: Location, down comforter, clean sheets and towels, remodeled bathroom.

Negatives: Room small, beds too soft, walls paper thin, popcorn ceiling.

Very hard to find but once there the staff was excellent. We were upgraded even without asking. All housekeeping staff greeted us as we walked down the hallway. The lobby area was beautiful.

Positives: The front desk was very helpful as was all of the staff. Everyone said hello.
