This hotel has a great location one block off the main street. Many restaurants nearby and also near many local attractions.

The hotel was in the center of downtown Palm Springs, and was convenient to many of my destinations. The pool was always cleaned and housekeeping did a great job. The staff was very friendly, and always made sure my needs were met.
Positives: The staff was friendly and courteous. Our room was very clean and housekepping did a wonderful job.
Negatives: I didn't like the room service selection. They need more of a selection on their menu.

Good location, really comfortable beds and spa tub in the room. That along with good breakfasts made this a comfortable stay for my friend and me.
Positives: Location near downtown, spa tub in room.
Negatives: Found one side of bedsheets wet, not sure what the heck it was but didn't complain.

Impeccable grounds, beautiful Stucco Mediterranean architecture. Nice rooms. Quiet. One block from P.S. main drags and walk to many restaurants. Low key, no crowds and just right for discerning traveler who does not require a lot of resort amenities.
Positives: Location, gardens, public areas.
Negatives: Staff not unfriendly, but not a bit uninvolved.

We have been going there frequently but not since the upgrades were completed. The hotel was good but is now great. Staff is uniformly helpful and responsive.
Positives: Efficient, helpful, clean, well located.
Negatives: Poor room lighting.

Much nicer than we expected for the price. Nice rooms, nice Mediterranean style hotel. Within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a choice of cheese omelet with mushroom, onion, pepper etc. or waffle. Toast, rolls, juice, coffee were also included. No meat though. We will come again for sure!
Positives: Bathroom had beautiful granite counter tops and really nice fixtures.
Negatives: I can't think of anything I didn't like.

Front desk was not very helpful in acknowledging that a 52 min phone call to Australia (of all places - I would not even know how to place a call here) was obviously not made by anyone in my family (we were at dinner w/cc receipt the very time the phone charge was noted). Hopefully, best western will intercede and make things right. Otherwise, our hotel stay was adequate.
Positives: Location and Breakfast.
Negatives: Staff.

AAA rates it a 2 star, I would give it at least 3! Great little hotel, location perfect to walk to central Palm Springs, free parking, no per day hotel tax, great free breakfast each day (made to order omelet or waffle plus more!), friendly and helpful staff, very pretty decor outside and around pool, lots of water fountains, laundry room too!, free internet is supposed to be in the room but mine didn't work so I used the modem cable in the lobby with easy and no charge! I would return in a heartbeat! If you are there on a Thursday hit the street fair on Palm Canyon, Ruby's is nice too.
Positives: Great location, very pretty landscaping, great breakfast.
Negatives: None to report!

I can't rave enough about this particular property! three years ago, my husband and I planned to stay one night, of our 8 day California vacation. we were there for 5 minutes and called and cancelled our Santa Barbara nights and added two more nights on to lass brisas. going back in September for the third year in a row. we always request room 202, it's a Jacuzzi room with a great view of the pool and the san Jacinto mountains. The bartender, Richard, at the pool bar is the best. Mixes up a great frozen drink!!!! I give lass brisas a "10" all around and highly recommend it for a very plesant stay in palm springs.
Positives: Excellant breakfast, fabulous pool, top-notch staff, great layout of the property itself
Negatives: if I have to say one negative thing about the Las Brisas, it's the fact that it's 2,643 miles away from where I live and I can't enjoy the pool or have one of the pool bar's great frozen drinks.
