Nice hotel. Spacious rooms. Good location. Terrible sound proofing between my ceiling in room 245 and the floor in room 345.
Positives: Large executive rooms.
Negatives: I heard every footstep of the person in room 345 above me.

The Embassy Suites Indian Wells provided a clean comfortable, spacious stay for my friend and I. The hotel provided a happy hour for guests consisting of beer, wine and spirits. It also provided a complimentary breakfast with made to order omelette's, eggs, pancakes, fruit etc. Had we gone to a bar for happy hour and eaten breakfast out, we would have spent easily an additional 50-70 dollars. Thanks Priceline.

This was a real treat. Our suite was clean, well appointed, and certainly exceeded all of our expectations. We will definitely stay here again as our first choice when returning to enjoy more experiences in this area.
Positives: Fantastic breakfast, pleasant staff, very clean!
Negatives: Internet charges.

Overall I was very happy with my stay here. Unfortunately I was there to have a weekend getaway with my boyfriend, and the hotel is definitely geared toward business guests and their families. We had a lot of fun anyway; the pool was large and warm, the free breakfast included made-to-order omelets and pancakes, and they have a daily happy hour with an open bar. I can't think of the last time I stayed at a hotel that gave me unlimited free drinks. The front desk staff seemed much. The room allowed smoking however, and it smelled like stale cigarettes. We requested an ozone machine to deal with the smell, and it made a big difference. All in all we had a great stay.
Positives: Accommodating guest services, spacious rooms, free happy hour daily, great breakfast, warm pool.
Negatives: Front desk staff seemed unorganized and confused, thin walls, room decor is not modern, smoking rooms smelled bad.

Positives: Clean and spacious rooms.
Negatives: Hot tub was unavaible (broken) on day 2.

Great place, the breakfast is an excellent service, but I would like another choice. The rooms are big and comfortable.
Positives: Nice big rooms.
Negatives: It was in remodeling.

The room was very nice and comfortable, close to the areas in Palm desert I was going to.
Positives: It was a lot nicer that I expected.
Negatives: Nothing.

They were under renovations, messy, just plain unpleasant.
Positives: The lobby and breakfast.
Negatives: Not clean, security doors broken, dirty elevators; miss matched furniture.

Decent hotel, although dated decor. The freshly cooked breakfast is unique for a modest hotel. The bath and tub/shower needs refurbishing with new tile, a curved shower rod, and better placement of soap dishes.
Positives: Friendly staff and the breakfast.
Negatives: Outdated decor, bad placement of soap dishes in shower causing injury.

As an example of embassy suites this one was lacking because it is too old. However the embassy suites usual package is excellent.
Positives: Nice complimentary package and very quaint atmosphere.
Negatives: It was a little tired and run down, small sized as well.

Will try again on another date when available.
Positives: Convenient and comfortable.
Negatives: A/c too noisy.

It's a nice looking hotel from the outside and the old fashioned southwestern look is consistent with the inside. When we checked in the service was nice but the hotel room was not. The refrigerator was unplugged, the cable television was unplugged. Considering the 114 degree weather outside the A.C. was off so the room was like a sauna when we walked in along with a weird smell. Overall, once we got settled and had the A.C. on full blast for a couple of hours the smell sort of went away and we figured how to hook up the cable and plug in the refrigerator. Basically made the best of it.
Positives: The customer service representative that checked me in was very friendly.
Negatives: Outdated furniture and an old smell in the room.

Negatives: Not a thing.

The hotel had a lush romantic garden-style courtyard and it was beautiful at night with the lighting. The mountains overlooking the hotel were gorgeous. Overall, the internet photos of this hotel do not do it justice. They need to be retaken. Thankfully we were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. I would also suggest the lobby be remodeled and updated. Overall, a beautiful hotel in a nice area with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
Positives: The chefs for the breakfast buffet were great - fast service. The manager's cocktail party was fun.
Negatives: Would have liked a balcony that had chairs so we could sit outside.

The facility seems to be in need of remodeling. However, the staff was friendly (especially the women who were preparing the cooked-to-order breakfasts). The free breakfasts were much nicer than we expected.
Positives: The women who work in the breakfast kitchen were great!
Negatives: The rooms seemed old, dark, and in need of remodeling.

I really enjoyed staying at the hotel. It was our first hotel experience with our 2 year old son. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the facility was very clean. Our son loved the pool and we loved that we had 2 rooms, so after our son went to bed, we could read in the other room without waking him! Great experience!
Positives: Great to have 2 rooms, since we have a toddler it gave us time to ourselves after he went to bed.
Negatives: Breakfast buffet - the tables weren't cleared promptly, and no return area for trays, so the pigeons picked at the leftovers.

Not a bad hotel, but not exactly luxury, good happy hour and breakfast was fine.
Positives: Clean, better then expected.
Negatives: Very thin walls and ceilings.

Overall, it was an excellent experience and we definitely would go there again.
Positives: The complimentary breakfast and cocktails.
Negatives: Took 40 minutes to get through the breakfast line.

The hotel was enjoyable. We definitely felt comfortable living there for four days. The service was quality as well.
Positives: The home like feel of the suite. It was easy to live there comfortably for four days.
Negatives: We were on the second floor and we could hear the people walking above us. The floors were not soundly made.

Just okay. I would not recommend it. I expected a lot more from an Embassy suites hotel and I certainly would not give it a 3, 4, or 5 star rating. We asked for a 5 star and this is what we got.
Positives: Breakfast.
Negatives: No business center, old looking.
