Very friendly customer service - the staff tried its best to make me happy during my stay and always had a smile. We had some noisy visitors wake us up early during our stay and being in a corner room on the second floor the first night made for a noisy morning with people walking by all the time to go down the stairs. Switching rooms helped but then I lost Wi-Fi and the technician could never get it going again. I would like better hot foods like a waffle maker but otherwise the food was OK.
Positives: Room cleanliness.
Negatives: No wi-fi on one side of building.

The hotel, while not directly adjacent to any attractions, was this a short drive to the various attraction in Oxnard and Ventura. We got a good nights sleep and then made a short drive to catch a boat to the Channel Islands National Park which was departed from Ventura Harbor which was only a ten to fifteen minute drive away. Nothing fancy or romantic, but a comfortable night and compared to other inflated hotel prices in the area.
Positives: It was moderately priced and a decent price given the area.
Negatives: Pool was in being repaired and not really near anything.

I definitely recommend this hotel, great accommodations. I didn't get a chance to use the weight room.
Positives: Quite, clean and affordable.
Negatives: A slight drive from the freeway, but it was close to the Wharf so it evens out.

Nice Hotel, Nice Location, Excellent Price, Very Children Friendly, competent staff, easy late night check-in, all OK except for the rats nesting in the ceiling above the bathroom in room 251.
Positives: Location Price.
Negatives: Rats Nesting in the ceiling above the bathroom Room 251.

We made the joke with some friends that we might not want to shine a black light in room for fear of what we might find! We asked for two nights but ended up driving home the second night because we just weren't comfortable. You should feel safe and clean when you're staying at a hotel - a home away from home.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Noisy air conditioner, tired room, lack of towels, bad neighborhood.

Not the worse in the world.
Positives: Can not say same for maintenance. Try to convince me that broken AC was ok!
Negatives: Location, carpeting was dirty!

I had a good experience at this hotel. The room was large and clean. A bonus was the nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast was adequate. The only minus is that it is located far from the shore.
Positives: The hotel has a nice pool and hot tub.
Negatives: Location is far from the beach.

Stay somewhere else. Stay closer to beach or near the areas where you might want to visit for shopping or dinner. This was a dark and gloomy location with industrial and ugly surroundings. The rooms are not updated and fail to meet basic expectations.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Dirty, torn wallpaper, bad smells, no TV remote, No coffee or breakfast, bad location.

I extended my stay and added one day making it a five day stay. The next day while I was very busy at work the hotel called and said I should have checked out and then back in and they had to move my room. I explained I had been told I was ok for the entire stay and had discussed this at check in. The first room smelled bad. The second room was a very bad smelling smoker's room. I am very unhappy with how this was handled and the room quality/cleanliness.
Positives: The work out room.
Negatives: Both rooms smelled terrible! Staff did not follow through on what was promised at check-in.

Hotel better than I expected for the price. Great location, as visiting son in Navy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cute decor and very clean. Great pool and hot tub area. Will definitely stay there again.
Positives: Staff recommended great restaurants, great location, to Navy base, Very clean and good price.
Negatives: Longer breakfast, computer didnt work while I was there.

It was further away from the freeway than I thought in a not so great part of town. It was worth the money, but not much more. The staff was helpful and the continental breakfast was very basic.
Positives: I liked the layout and that they were open late.
Negatives: The room seemed to be a collection of mismatched items.

Since I was traveling with a pet, this hotel was inconvenient. I also have to stay in touch online on my computer and even after telling the desk clerk I was having troubles, I never got connected. This was a disappointment.
Positives: Cleanliness of room.
Negatives: Never got the internet working, pool was closed and no pets allowed.

I noticed that cars and trucks are parked next to the bedroom doors. The rooms are dark and closed in. There are no staff people anywhere to provide you with info, all questions are answered by the lobby attendant, so if you need anything (ice, towels.) Be ready to walk back to the lobby. And the attendant acted liked he/she was being inconvenienced. Kind of like a "bates motel".
Positives: Leaving.
Negatives: Paying for a motor lodge.

Great rooms nicely furnished.
Positives: Very clean, very new.
Negatives: Location hard to find.

We would not stay there again. There are a lot of other hotels, closer to the beach you can get for the same price or less.
Positives: Not much.
Negatives: Location, hotel under construction, amenities, and safety of surrounding neighborhood

The directions took us through an industrial area. The area surrounding the hotel was very run down and just outside the property were a few homeless people (not anything against them; just not a very inviting feeling to a hotel.) The facility itself was nice as well was the staff, almost out of place to the immediate area. The guests in the room next to us seemed like they may have been temporarily living there-locals? Overall not a bad stay but would not recommend it.
Positives: Comfortable room.
Negatives: Questionable location, questionable client.
