Hotel was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It was a little far from Disneyland, but the free shuttle made that irrelevant. Breakfast was hot, fresh and tasty. Beds were very comfortable. Only complaints were the slow draining sink and shower, and the shuttle driver who should be more careful to keep his opinions to himself. Otherwise, the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
Positives: Breakfast was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable.
Negatives: Shower and bathroom sink drained very slowly. No microwave. One of the shuttle drivers made inappropriate racial comments.

Negatives: Next to UC Irvine hospital freg. sirens.

Hotel is conveniently located for guests using Chapman Medical Center or Irvin Univ. Medical Center. Near shopping and good restaurants. Hotel nicely appointed. Above average in it's price category.
Positives: Nice ambiance, and good mattress.
Negatives: Could have a better wheelchair available for guests.

This is the best hotel I stayed while traveling West Coast. FYI I stayed in planet Hollywood resort & casino, Bally's at Vegas, red feather lodge at Grand Canyon and Warwick at SFO. This is a small hotel which could offer you all the comfort that one need while traveling. It was super clean. Seems like newly renovated. Furnishers, rooms, floor, ceiling, bathtub, draperies, linen everything was sparkling. there is a shuttle bus to Disney Land. Since we did not take it so I can't write about its frequency. The last but not the least was the buffet breakfast. We will again stay in this hotel.
Positives: I liked everything about this hotel. Conveniently located to Disney Land. Meet all my expectations.
Negatives: Nothing to say.

The lobby was nicely decorated and had a convenient computer and printer for guests (great for printing out plane tickets). The room itself was well furnished and had 2 queen size beds. Me and my boyfriend weren't expecting that, but the 2nd bed turned out to be a good storage spot. The TV had a decent amount of channels on it but we used our own laptop more. The internet wasn't super fast, but good enough. The bathroom was probably one of my favorite parts. It was super super squeaky clean and had a nice spacious tub (good for bubble baths). The low flow toilet had a freakishly strong flush, so that was nice.
Positives: The amazingly clean bathroom.
Negatives: The hidden location of the blackout drapes.

It should not be classified as three and half stars at all I stayed in Holiday in express in marysville WA and it was way better and much cleaner.
Positives: I did not like anything about this hotel.
Negatives: Poor cleanliness helpless staff during night shift and they could not provide me with baby cribs.

Ayres Orange was staffed with hard working, kind employees who were eager to please. They helped and even changed our room (it was next to the fitness center) upon request. Our only complaints had to do with the water pressure in the hotel room and the mild temperature of the spa. Overall, a wonderful night!
<BR/>
Positives: Great staff that were extremely accommodating.
Negatives: Terrible water pressure in shower and spa was underwhelming.

I think the Ayres Inn is a great hotel for your money. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families traveling to Disneyland. Hotel does not have fancy restaurant dining or expensive fitness center. However, it meets all our need for our trip to Disneyland.
Positives: Free shuttle, parking and breakfast.
Negatives: Distance from Disneyland.

The only bad experience was that late at night another guest tried to get in our room because the hotel staff had given him our room. He went back to get a staff member and they, to their surprise, found our family in the room and were quite apologetic. I would have been very upset had I been traveling solo.
Positives: Location was good.
Negatives: Two times we had to get new keys.

The hotel is really very good. Breakfast is amazing! We love AYRES so much that this is the only hotel chain we go back to each year.
Positives: Very good and friendly staff. Comfortable accommodations. Truly A+++.
Negatives: None.

We tried to get a bigger room, but they didn't have one available. We had 5 people in a King room with a pull out couch, even with the small space the stay was enjoyable. Overall good stay.
Positives: We left our DVD player in the room and they overnighter it w/o any questions.
Negatives: Small room for 5 people.

The hotel was quite nice with an inviting lobby. I didnt' get to eat in the restaurant but it looked like a nice place. The rooms were a bit small including the bathroom, but they were furnished nicely. Located on a busy road right next to a mall. Lots of places to eat and visit.
Positives: The lobby was quite beautiful, rooms very comfy, stylish.
Negatives: The room and bathroom are too small for all the furniture. TV stations didn't come in well.

This hotel features a hot complementary breakfast daily and transportation to local attractions with mandatory reservation of the transportation at the front desk. Clean and quiet it is close to many Anaheim attractions, but far from the hustle and bustle of Disneyland (2 miles).
Positives: Clean and quiet.
Negatives: More far way from Disneyland than I expected (not the hotel's fault).

I recommend this hotel for any age for family. The rooms were very welcoming and the service was good, they had a shuttle to Disney or to greyhound if you needed to get to Universal. The pool was clean. Wonderful.
Positives: It was a convenient location for Disney and the hotel had a shuffle that helped tremendously.
Negatives: They finish 9 a.m. prompt for breakfast; they should still say 9 a.m. but clear up at 9:15 as late arrivals do not get to finish breakfast.

I was very satisfied with this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, staffed by friendly helpful people and they served a better than average complimentary breakfast. The fitness room was adequate but small and without weights. The hotel could use a little updating as it looked a little worn. For the price it was a good value.
Positives: The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions.
Negatives: While the hotel was clean and attractive it did need some updating. It looked a little well used.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It was worth every penny and it was a great start to our vacation. The staff was very professional and friendly. We especially appreciated Pam who assisted us at check in. She went above and beyond her duty. We truly loved our stay and will be back.
Positives: Customer service was excellent/ rooms very clean.
Negatives: I can¿t think of anything wrong with this hotel.

The room was not what we booked when we first got there; the staff quickly changed our room to what we booked even though the hotel was pretty full. The breakfast was great! Too bad we didn't know the hours for breakfast changed on Monday, our last day as we missed having it.
Positives: N/A
Negatives: Weekday breakfast stopped at 9:00am.

Overall the hotel, although not close the Disney was a choice we did not regret. It was quiet, and the morning breakfast offered a lot of different choices beyond the usual fruit and cereal. We enjoyed the night we stayed there and would do so again.
Positives: The room itself was very roomy, we didn't feel cramped.
Negatives: There was no microwave available and no high speed access.

Good experience, good location, friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was ok for free, would have been upset if I had paid for it. Overall I would stay there again for a good deal. If paying a little more I would choose somewhere else.
Positives: Convenient and friendly.
Negatives: Breakfast buffet could have been a little better.

Last minute it was a great find. It was easier to access than some bigger name hotels closer to Disneyland.

The hotel accomodations were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful-they are a great asset to travelers unfamiliar to the area. The lounge is cozy and inviting, the room decor was very nice. I was very pleased with these accomodations.
