This is a wonderful hotel with great amenities. We were looking for something a little closer to North Shore and South Shore.

Positives: Great Views and wonderful amenities.

Negatives: Was way off the beaten path.

Overpriced and not worth it. The location is great for skiing at Squaw but the service from the staff and at resort restaurants is poor. Stay somewhere else.

Positives: Located close to ski slopes.

Negatives: Had a $18 per per day "resort fee" that was not included in the listed price.

It seems that staying in a hotel with greater than two stars these days means the room rate is only a fraction of the cost. For those that anticipate this and are happy paying extra for every little thing (internet) then you will find this hotel to be representative of a four star hotel.

Positives: It was convenient to a ski lift.

Negatives: Nickel and diming for everything made the true cost much higher than stated.

Nice and romantic, just make sure you go during a season and not in between seasons or you will find all there shop are closed.

Positives: View.

Negatives: Was still charged a guest fee when

Staff were rude, unprofessional, and not at the caliber I was to expect at the resort. They messed up our last night so we were locked out of our hotel. They messed up our final bill and instead of apologizing, first accused us of lying about a lunch we didn't have and then left us standing there for 15 minutes while they were in the back figuring things out. Without any apologies. Finally they came out, said they would figure it out later and took off the charge. still without an apology for making us wait. I've had better service in motels.

Positives: It was in a pretty location.

Negatives: Far from everything..

This would be a great destination for families with children. The pools are large and child-friendly. The resort is at the base of the lifts, so skiers could literally walk out of the hotel and onto a lift. We don't golf, but plenty of folks staying there were golfing and seemed to enjoy themselves. Restaurants are nice and staff friendly.

Positives: The grounds were gorgeous, plus it offered many activities.

Negatives: Room was a little small.

Kid friendly and very convenient! Everything you need right there. Lounge area was nice only wish there was a server for drinks. I loved this hotel/resort! My daughter and I had a fabulous time.

Positives: Ski in, ski out, hot tubs, outside bar &music, good restaurants/service.

Negatives: 20% room service charge, 16.00 day resort fee, no microwave in the room.

The hotel was beautiful. All the people were so friendly. The front desk was awesome. The room was large and the view outstanding. The pools were inviting and it was a special touch to have water brought to us poolside.

Positives: The staff were great. Good food and relaxing environment.

Negatives: A lot of stairs to get to the pool or parking unless you went very far to the elevator.

This hotel was gorgeous and had lots of amenities. The restaurants were very good and the service was excellent. I really was not happy with our room being located next to the service elevator. That was a huge disappointment.

Positives: Loved the level of luxury and service.

Negatives: Our room was next to the service elevator and very noisy.

Nice place, need to improve parking. Did not like the surprise fee of $17.00 at check in for use of facilities such as pool, hot tub, gym etc. which I did not use, but was still charged. Also wasn't impressed with waiting to be seated at the Six Peaks restaurant when the place is empty.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Waiting 2

It is a very nice upscale resort in a gorgeous location. The staff were exceptionally well trained, responsive and courteous. We arrived at 2 a.m. and they comped valet parking the that day. We had a problem w/the coffee maker and it was cleaned up & replaced w/2 sets of supplies w/in 10 minutes. Very comfy beds and the toiletries were unique and high quality (sage, lavender and lemon grass fragrances). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Positives: Very quick efficient service

Negatives: The shuttle back from Squaw Valley Village was an hr late

Overall it was very nice. However there was no hot water at 6 a.m. The manager opened an unused room so we could use the shower there. Resort fee of $16.00 per day was outrageous! It was Unacceptable.

Positives: View was beautiful.

Negatives: $16.00 resort fee, was hidden.

Overall I had an excellent stay and I would return to this hotel. Great ski-out ski-in location. Friendly staff, good food and you can use the sauna, steam room or jacuzzi after skiing. Convenient shuttle service to Olympic Village was also nice to have.

Positives: It's convenience to skiing at Squaw.

Negatives: Some days the cleaning staff did not provide clean glasses.

I really enjoyed the facilities and the accommodation at Resort At Squaw Creek in Olympic Valley, CA. The staff was very friendly. The only draw back for me was that the carpet in room was too worn out that the fibers were separating from the carpet. I was going to mention it to the staff but instead I am expressing my concerns here. Over all, I enjoyed it but that carpet will be on my mind when I think of Resort At Squaw Creek.

Positives: Staff work hard and deligent to please guests.

Negatives: The guest room carpet was too worn out for a 4 star resort.
