The spring thaw marks the end of winter with beautiful wildflowers and the close by spring runoff fills the creek-beds contributing to spectacular waterfalls. Take exit 68 to merge onto I-80 W toward Sacramento Entering California. 4. Take exit 185 toward CA-89 S/Lake Tahoe. 5. At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto CA-89 S. 6. At the traffic circle, continue straight to stay on CA-89 S. 7. Turn right at Squaw Valley Rd. 8. Keep right for 2.2. miles. 9. Continue straight onto Chamonix Pl. 10.
