Smelled like smoke and were noisy. Bathroom very dated with orange tile and toilets and wood paneling. Awful!

Positives: The outside is hilly and the grounds are nice.

Negatives: The rooms smell like smoke and the decor is from the 70s.

13 miles from the gate to the park, but 37 more miles to the valley floor. The room smelled bad and the towels were thread bare.

Positives: The lobby.

Negatives: Smell of the room flimsy towels.

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's acceptably clean, but don't expect anything more then that. It's the perfect place to crash at if you plan on spending the day at Yosemite, but as far as the hotel goes there isn't much to speak about.

Positives: It is located about 15 miles from the Yosemite park entrance!

Negatives: Unhelpful staff, smelly old room, aged amenities, broken remote not fixed, noisy at night.

The stay was pleasant. The best western had everything that was promises and the staff was friendly. The hotel restaurant was quaint and interesting, but stops serving food at 9pm, though the lounge is open until 12pm. We had great service from case.

Positives: The quality level actually surprised me, pleasantly.

Negatives: The hotel restaurant stops serving food at 9pm.

Best place to stay in Oakhurst. Out of all the nearby Yosemite towns, this one had the most amenities, such as Vons, star bucks, jamb juice, Carls jr., kfc, McDonalds, family-owned restaurants, shops, Japanese and Chinese food, round table pizza, etc. The hotel landscape was gorgeous. This hotel looked like the best in Oakhurst. Indoor pool and Jacuzzi awesome! Also have outdoor pool and Jacuzzi. Hotel restaurant very good! The price is excellent. Room very clean and comfortable. Playground on site for kids. Nearby bass lake 15 minutes away and beautiful! Best place to stay near Yosemite! Very close to best entrance to Yosemite: south gate. Only cool snow plays area at this entrance, right past fish camp. Loved it!

Positives: Best place to stay in Oakhurst! Love the indoor Jacuzzi and pool! Beautiful landscape! Love nearby restaurants and stores: Vons, star bucks, etc.

Negatives: Noise level above. We were on bottom floor. Could hear the people/kids walking around upstairs. Would definitely request top floor next time.

We were traveling with our family, for Vermont & N.J., California and Yosemite and us were only a brief stop over on their way to Hawaii for their main vacation. We were all so pleased with the Hotel location, size of rooms, forest setting, balconies, heated pool & spa etc. And for the price a reasonable price. Our family was so pleased that they said that Hawaii may be a let down after such beautiful accommodations. We plan to go back just my husband and I. We Loved it!

Positives: We were surprised and overjoyed with our stay. We will book again for our anniversary weekend, in June.

Negatives: No elevators, but none of the other places in Oakhurst did either.

Excellent place to stay if you are visiting Bass Lake or Yosemite. Only 45 minutes from the ski resort of Badger Pass.

Positives: The lobby is beautiful; a 2-storey high ceiling rustic cabin in the woods feel.

Negatives: We could hear people and noise through the wall to the next room.
