Very accommodating staff which allowed us to check out at 1:00 p.m., since we were attending a 2:00 p.m. wedding. Very picturesque location, with gazebos outside where you could have your breakfast or a drink.
Positives: We were attending a wedding in the area, and they allowed us late check out so that we didn't have to find somewhere to go until wedding time!
Negatives: The room was small.

It was a quiet place - enjoyed it and it was precisely great for the over night stay and great friendly staff.
Positives: It was easily accessible from State Highway 49 - great location.
Negatives: Could have been a bit spacer.

The hotel would be good for young people or pet owner, but not family with young children or pregnant person.
Positives: It was cheap and had Wi-Fi.
Negatives: The room had horrible odor and no bath tab.

Don't expect anything fancy but the Nevada Inn was a great deal and had cute little rooms. It came equipped with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, blow dryer and a few extra sample products than you usually see (i.e. disposable razor) The bathroom had only a shower and was a bit cold (it was snowing outside) but again, for the price, I can't complain. Think Bates Motel without Anthony Perkins or shrieking soundtrack. I would stay here again. I appreciated the no frills, reasonable price sensibility of the place. You'll need the extra money to be able to eat in Nevada City, but that's a different review.

Great and really cute hotel for the price. Recently redone rooms. Rooms were spotless - extremely clean. Really nice grounds. The continental breakfast was surprisingly good. A large variety of items to choose from. Pet friendly. 15 minute walk to downtown Nevada city. The mattress a little hard would be my only complaint. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

A quiet, peaceful location. Small room but very cozy. The staff was wonderful and even called us by Name. It was a great romantic getaway and we would stay there again!
