An upscale hotel; friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable, well-appointed rooms; well-maintained public spaces. Bumbled the room-service order--brought wrong dish; corrected without charge.

Positives: Comfortable, clean room; nicely maintained public spaces; convenient location.

Negatives: Parking expensive; bumbled room service order.

Very convenient and first rate. Just what you would expect.

Positives: Great bed and excellent service.

Negatives: Outrageously expensive parking $36 per day! No convenience or gift shop. Also, no complimentary pastries in the morning with free coffee.

The Intercontinental is a comfortable hotel with average looking rooms in a fantastic location. The staff is extremely accommodating and it's within walking distance to century city.

Positives: Great location and friendly staff.

Negatives: Charged $35 for valet parking only.

Hotel was great, room was nice, updated, clean. Parking was only valet and for 2 nights cost over $80 + valet tips.

Positives: Nice room, safe area, nearby restaurants.

Negatives: Parking for 2 nights was over $80, also did not like the restaurant at the hotel.

Great hotel for the price, off the beaten trail, clean and a very helpful staff. Parking was a little on the expensive side at $36.00 per night for valet. Overall the family really enjoyed the hotel. The workout facility is as good as any and plenty of cardio machines.

Positives: Great location, off the beaten trail.

Negatives: Not may dining options within walking distance.

Get more roll aways, you should not have to sleep on the floor for the price we paid. Staff not helpful with this situation.

Positives: Clean.

Negatives: Could not give us two beds and did not have a roll-away. My husband had to sleep on the floor.

Overall nice. Room was a tad run down, but roomy and great views w/floor to ceiling windows in entire room. No vending machine in entire hotel was a little inconvenient since I have to feed my diet Pepsi addiction. Valet-only parking was a bit pricey, but probably not for that area.

Positives: The all window, almost no walls, room was fabulous. views galore.

Negatives: There is no vending except crazy overpriced in-room bar.

I did not like my room when I got there. It was an older room with worn down rug, furniture, frayed drapes and the only view was a parking lot. I complained and though they couldn't change me that night they changed me the next day into a newer, cleaner room.

Positives: Good staff, pretty lobby.

Negatives: My room was under par, drapes were frayed, and old furniture.

Parking is expensive, then again it is in every hotel in this area.

Positives: Very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff.

Negatives: The only thing that annoyed me is that

The hotel is beautiful. The facilities, dining room, hotel rooms, etc. are wonderful. I can not say enough about the staff. Every single person I spoke to was friendly, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They all went out of their way to be of service. I have stayed there three times now, from a single night to multiple nights and I will stay there every time I visit LA.

Positives: Every staff member I spoke to was EXCEPTIONAL, from the valet to room service!

Negatives: LOVED everything!

Overall this Hotel was awesome! We wish we could have stayed another night! We definately will want to stay there again. The parking fee was the only surprise, which was the first time<BR/>I have been charged this fee.

Positives: The entire Hotel was gorgeous! The Room was luxurious! On a tight budget My family could enjoy an upscale Hotel on our minimal budget!

This hotel is amazing. My room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom had a separate bath tub and shower which is great. I loved the balcony that had a table and chairs on it. I also loved the flat screen LCD TV and windows that ran across half the room. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

Positives: This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at!

Negatives: I didn't like the $32/night valet charge.
