Watch out for Internet surcharge, it is per room per device per day.
Positives: Convenient location.
Negatives: Internet fee is per room per device, so if you want you phone and laptop to connect to Internet, you have to pay double.

This hotel was clean, very nicely decorated and a perfect location. It was very convenient to get back and forth to the airport during my stay!
Positives: Hotel staff was extremely friendly and courteous!
Negatives: Nothing. Everything was perfect!

First, this hotel charges guests (those of us paying for rooms) $24.75 per day to park you car. They openly advertise a "Park & Ride" service to LAX at $16.00 per day for non-guest customers. Same parking deck. When I questioned the front desk staff on morning after our check-in, they just stared dumbly at me and asked if I would like to be a Star Rewards Member. On two occasions in the morning at around 8:00 am we could not get "hot" water in the shower. It was not for a lack of patience. The first morning I phoned the desk after my wife decided to forgo washing her hair and had stepped out of the shower to put on a bath cap. This was probably due to the fact that our room was a thousand yards from the maintenance facility and therefore a full ten minutes was required to get water to the room. On Wednesday night we returned to the hotel to find a young man sitting in the hallway, head down holding his phone and utterly still. We could not determine that he was breathing. Security did arrive a few minutes after we called but they made a bit too much noise getting him back to his room. If they were attempting to offer us a sense of confidence by being unnecessarily loud, they only succeeded in annoying the entire floor. And for the love of Pete, will somebody please inform these so called Luxury Hotels that its OK to "give" your customer the same WiFi service that is readily available in every other hotel, dinner and dive.
Positives: Daily grill was an unexpected surprise, try the meatloaf. Breakfast was super.
Negatives: Lobby is under major renovation, bathroom very small, tile in need of service. We were given farthest room from elevators.

A decent hotel, but costs too much for what you get. $22 to park. A little pricey I think. Had to ask 3 times for a crib before we got one. Got stuck in the middle of a classical singing convention (sandwiched in between their rooms). Too loud for a sleeping baby! Got charged for using the mini bar when we didn't use it at all. Thankfully they removed the charge without much hassle. Close to the airport and rental cars, which was nice.
Positives: Nice lobby.
Negatives: Costs way

Overall, it was a good experience. The price was excellent and it was close to LAX, which after a long flight was nice. It was conveniently located near places to eat and having Starbucks in the room was a nice touch. Like I said before the 22.00 additional for parking in the hotel garage was ridiculous.
Positives: It was a clean and very comfortable bed and pillows and quiet.
Negatives: Did not like that we had to pay 22.00 extra for parking in the hotel garage.

The hotel has an advantage of easy parking and quick airport access. The hotel has seen better days, carpets are dirty and tattered. The overall room was a nice size, but the carpets were dirty and my particular room had water damage spots, as well as a picture that was missing glass from a previous fall.

Positives: Very convenient the airport and freeways.
Negatives: This hotel is in need of repair.

No question, it's a top quality hotel. The beds and linens were excellent quality. The room was a typical size, not lots of excess floor space. If you need a place to staying coming in or out of LAX, it will provide a great night's rest.
The downside of being on a busy road by the airport is that the outside space is limited, and other than a large open seating area in the lobby, I didn't get the sense that you were invited to linger at the hotel. The coffee wagon is in the vestibule on the way to the garage. You grab your Joe and go, no seating, no atmosphere. I have had drinks at the bar on a previous visit though, and that's very nicely done.
Positives: Close to airport, quiet, and
Negatives: Somewhat anonymous, huge hotel but common spaces weren't very friendly. Coffee bar small and tucked away.

The lobby and entrance to the Westin are quite impressive but the room did not live up to that standard, although the bed was very comfortable. It was fine for a one night airport stay, and we enjoyed the shuttle to Manhattan beach which stops outside many of the hotels on this "strip".
Positives: This is an airport hotel with a good shuttle service to and from airport.
Negatives: Some furniture in the room needed updating and the bathroom was plain with few toiletries.

This is a very nice hotel, outstanding value for the price we paid. Very nice room and public spaces.
Positives: Very nice room. Dinner in the restaraunt was very good. Comfortable bed.
Negatives: a small spot/stain/blemish on tub surface. Breakfast server did not come back to fill coffee until she brought us the bill for the meal.

Excellent. Lovely hotel, great check-in, the bed and bedding was excellent. Great place to stay. The price was great!
Positives: Great bedding and mattress. The hamburgers (meat ground on premises) was excellent. We didn't even need dinner!
Negatives: Did not like the view overlooking a concrete roof.

Hotel was right by airport, but well insulated as to sound. very quiet - considering! Great beds. Not enough staff present to help patrons. Front desk had 1 person on a Saturday afternoon and 15 parties waiting to check in.
Positives: Great beds.
Negatives: Not enough staffing.

We liked that the hotel smelled just like the Westin we stayed in in Hawaii, very nostalgic. The parking was overpriced, but it was convenient to get into the hotel. The plane noise was very loud until about 1:30 am. Although the room was nice, the shower could use some upgrading and there were some common areas (i.e., in the hallways) that needed upgrading (wallpaper hung from the ceilings, the floor boards and key slots looked really old, etc). The lobby is very beautiful and the rooms are mostly nice, with large TVs. The bed was comfortable, we liked the lounge chair in the corner, and Starbucks in the coffee maker.
Positives: Starbucks coffee in the room, room was nice.
Negatives: So close to the airport, plane noise was really loud, some areas need to be renovated and wallpaper was hanging off ceiling.

A good 3 star hotel. Nothing special to the rooms really, and drawers were broken, making it difficult to use. Very dusty and I was really disappointed after seeing dirty cleaning rags left in our room after we generously tipped housekeeping. Not a very classy place. Also, front desk could be friendlier. They have a 5 star hotel attitude which is really disappointing when you're staying in a 3 star hotel.
Positives: Looked nice.
Negatives: Stuff in room broken, dirty.

Extremely convenient to airport, carpet in my room was stained, chair was ripped. not what I've come to expect as an SPG member.
Positives: Convenience of hotel to airport.
Negatives: Stained carpet, didn't reply to requests I made after booking.

The location near the airport served me well. We ordered out, don't. There is nothing good outside or near the hotel unless you want Subway. So, we should of chanced it and ordered in and payed the premium. The parking is pricey. Overall not bad, but not great. I would experience other places before deciding this is the place I consistently want to stay if I am doing business in the LA airport area. Thanks.
Positives: Location near the airport.
Negatives: Parking fee expensive, Rooms are beginning to show wear and tear.

Doesn't measure up.
Positives: Convenient to LAX.
Negatives: Flimsy plastic cups not acceptable in a 4 star.

The lobby looks great and everything, but the exterior design tells tales of an old motel six being remodeled. Interior/upstairs is very run down, needs new carpet, interior, bathroom. Need a better cleaning staff, as well as concierge.
Positives: Clean sheets and towels.
Negatives: Old rusted carpet, doors and everything, toilet was not clean.

The price was good but the fee to park is too high and the room was not ready although i was checking in close to midnight! it was ridiculous.
Positives: It was a nice hotel, clean and fairly new.
Negatives: Rude staff and room not ready, parking fee too high.

Very nice when you first walk in to lobby. Easy check in and check out. I don't think the room was a four star. Carpets had stains and things looked old.
Positives: Lobby and personal very nice.
Negatives: Had to ask for ice bucket, parking $18 and room and

I have stayed at most of the hotels near LAX as a stop over. Would be good to have a cheaper spot for quick sandwich etc.
Positives: Location to LAX.
Negatives: Still seemed rather dark in the lobby.

I've stayed here before and was pleased.
Positives: Location.

This is a decent hotel for what we paid but not a 4-star. The Hilton Garden Inn is much better. I would recommend staying at the Hilton Garden Inn if you are in the LAX/El Segundo Area. Our friends stayed there and their spa, rooms, and customer service was 110% better. Plus they paid less then we did after the parking fees of $18 per day were applied. I think the biggest disappointment was the customer service. They never explained where to park or how much is costs, how to get to our room, the location of the pool/spa, room or guest services. I had to go back and ask. I would rate this Hotel at 2.5 stars. I slept well and thought the meeting facilities were nice.
Positives: There were towels available by the pool.
Negatives: Paid $18 for parking each day, old dirty furniture, no fridge, bad customer service, had to ask for everything.

Overall my stay at the Westin was a good one. They accommodated me to the best of their abilities. I also appreciated the discount I received on parking because I was staying so long (9 nights total). However, like I said before, it was a great inconvenience not to have free Internet. I know that less expensive hotels offer free Internet, a continental breakfast, and free parking in a lot, and they are good quality hotels. I know that this is an upscale hotel, but to gain goodwill among the customers, free Internet is a must. If that isn't an option, then either get rid of the parking fee or offer a continental breakfast.
Positives: Large rooms.
Negatives: No free internet which is especially tough for business travelers.
