The hotel is nice for sleeping and relaxing but amenities are expensive.

Negatives: Nothing complementary.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and comforatable. Saturday night there was a wedding reception outside on our side of the hotel. We couldn't get to sleep because of the loud music and DJ until it ended at 11PM.
Positives: I liked the art-deco design.
Negatives: The restaurant was closed from 9:30am

The best part of the hotel for our purposes was the beautiful pool and hot tub were closed during our entire stay. The hotel was very nice but as soon as you come down from the hill that it's set on the entire surrinding area is very unsafe ( low income areas, graffiti, etc.).
Positives: Very fast and friendly service.
Negatives: Intended for asian business travelers.

We were pleasantly surprised by the resort like feel of this hotel. The views and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. There is a major renovation taking place, so there was construction noise in the dining room. The room was a nice surprise. It was large with an incredible view. There were stains on the carpet and signs of disrepair throughout the hotel. The rooms were noisy. There were doors slamming all day long. I think most of it was done by housekeeping. The room was very comfortable. The location was fantastic. The front desk staff was very helpful and suggested some incredible restaurants. We liked it so much, we stayed an extra night.
Positives: Incredible views and grounds.
Negatives: Constant noise from doors slamming and plumbing.

The hotel was conveniently located off Fenway 60 and it takes about 40 minutes to get to Downtown LA. Hotel used to be a Sheraton and would probably be a 4-star hotel in most people's opinion. Cima (within the hotel) has a great seafood buffet for $55 on Friday and Saturday nights. Hotel is really meant for business since there are loads of conference rooms. I wouldn't say it's kid-friendly or romantic but it's new and great for the price.
Positives: Modern look with great views.
Negatives: There are noisy generators are at the back of the hotel.

Negatives: I loved everything about this hotel.

Very tastefully decorated. Closer to a 5*. Would highly recommend to anyone. Fabulous views of the golf course, pool L.A. County etc.
Positives: The room was elegant, comfortable with an awesome bed. The staff was always very friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend this hotel.
Negatives: Elevator to guest rooms does not go to lobby.

The hotel exceeded my expectation in terms of overall quality. The room and bathroom are new and have contemporary look. The hotel is located on hill top, so it is very easy to locate. Unfortunately, it is a bit far from freeways. The lobby is too big and more accommodating to business meetings, not for hotel guests.
Positives: Overall, the room quality is very good.
Negatives: The location is a little far from I-10 and CA-60.
