Beautiful place, but everything costs extra. Parking, Internet, all amenities seemed to add quite a bit to the bill leading to an unpleasant check-out.

Positives: Location by the beach.

Negatives: They added a 23 dollar resort fee to my bill and

The room was comfortable and clean as expected for a Hyatt like this. However, we were disappointed in the TV channel selections as they were very limited and did not include the more popular channels that come with basic cable. (My son couldn't believe there was no Nick or Cartoon Network.) Overall, it was a nice stay, and I wished we could have stayed a little longer in Huntington Beach.

Positives: Loved the location and the amenities.

Negatives: Expensive parking and additional fees like resort fee (?) and charge for internet.

Upon checking in we were offered an upgrade for just a few dollars more. We took the offer and to our suprise the room overlooked the pool and the ocean. We never had to wait for one thing the staff was one step ahead alway. If ever you get the chance to stay at this hotel don't miss out.

Positives: The staff at this hotel was the best we have ever had.

Negatives: Nothing

This was the best part of our California trip. The hotel was absolutely beautiful with so much to offer. Our room was spacious and amazing. Our view of the beach was perfect, even though we were in a partial-view room! The pool and hot tubs were clean and very enjoyable. The poolside service was fantastic. Overall the staff was extremely friendly and helpful however use of the Internet was a bit high; bring your own computer if you can.

Positives: The value, location and overall experience.

Negatives: Nothing.

Negatives: No answer.

This resort has great amenities, staff and rooms. We booked our stay for a romantic weekend getaway and the Hyatt resort delivered. The Californian Restaurant had great cuisine and staff. The ambiance and the location is great!

Positives: Excellent experience at the hotel. All sorts of amenities from a romantic getaway to a family weekend.

Negatives: Cannot say we disliked anything about the hotel.

Hotel in good beach colors, clean with nice landscaping. Had variety of different outdoor pool areas to enjoy. The tiki torches were sometimes on and sometimes off, no rhyme or reason. Bathroom door did not close properly, did not fit door jam. Housekeeping would put room back to their floor plan, would've liked to have the trash can kept where it worked for us, just little things like that could make an improvement for me. Didn't put the ironing board back. Very good with towels and toiletries. No phone book in room. I am originally from the area so I know the area well. Staff took no time at all to get to know me/husband. We were just another couple checking in for the first time, each and every time! I finally told them I had been there over a week! This hotel facilitates a lot of weddings, events so on weekends especially there are a lot of vehicles coming through at certain times of the day. Would've liked to have been able to get to my car without having to go through the valet service.

Positives: The room was a good room!

Negatives: The valet guys didn't have a clue, thought we were checking in each and every time, no personal touch from any staff.

I loved this hotel, drinks, bottled water, smores, everything you needed was included. Except there is a $25 per day valet fee, and a luxury fee for California hotels.

Positives: Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

Negatives: I did not get to stay long enough, I loved it.

The hotel was beautiful. Internet was expensive, parking was valet only. Attached restaurant was extremely expensive. Access to our room was through long winding halls. Was confusing, and exits were far apart. But it was definitely a beautiful place right on the ocean, with free access to the beach, the public pier, and the downtown shops. There was an additional $16 per day per room "resort fee" added that was not disclosed at check in.

Positives: It was beautifully decorated, and had good access to the beach and downtown.

Negatives: Extra resort

This is a hotel for persons on an expense account or who have no common sense about their money. It is a very nice hotel, beautifully maintained, with excellent rooms and grounds. To charge $25.00 per overnight for parking and a $16.50 fee per night for a resort fee is the hotel's right to charge what they want. However, one expects to pay reasonable parking fees and the resort fee is expected in the room's rate. There are other very nice places to stay without the high fees charged by this hotel to the unknowing or unsuspecting.

Positives: This is a beautiful hotel, situated in an upscale residential area with easy access to a nice beach.

Negatives: Overnight parking is extremely expensive $25.00 per night, and the hotel charges a resort fee of $16.50 per night!

The hotel was great, beautiful, clean, great location. Unfortunately parking is super expensive and only valet. But I would recommend this hotel to others.

Positives: Proximity to the beach and cleanliness.

Negatives: Parking was expensive, and only offer valet parking.
