Overall the Crowne Plaza was a very pleasant hotel. The staff was attentive to our needs and the public areas of the hotel are very attractive. The bed in our room was very comfortable. The one drawback is that the furnishings in the rooms need to be updated. In our room the finish on the desk and table were cracked and worn down to bare wood in spots. The TV almost looked a throwback to the 70's. A large tube type with a very small screen, unacceptable in this age of inexpensive flat screens. I thought it may have been just our room until I saw the door opened to a couple of others while being cleaned, exact same old TV's and furniture.

Negatives: My only complaint is the worn-out/outdated desks, tables, chairs and TV in the room.

I've stayed at this place 7+ times already and they have good staff, but food service was okay.

Great location off freeway: clean quiet room, fantastic bed, great in room coffee and free well lighted parking. They charge for wi fi, which is lame in 2011.
Positives: Great location, clean room and very quiet. Free parking a big plus. Starbucks next door and good room coffee.

I don't recommend this hotel to anyone, next to the airport.couldn't sleep the whole night. Bad location.Bed bugs.

It was nice. The check out staff was abrupt. Seemed to have an attitude. The person there while checking in was great. The bartenders were also great.

My experience was definitely a good one. As I mentioned above I have never stayed at a Crown Plaza Hotel and though I have seen other locations from the outside and had come to the conclusion that Crown was an upscale hotel. Well, other than the water stains on the ceiling of my room it was a 3.5 start hotel. I'll be back!
Positives: Overall, I like the hotel. So much so that I would consider a stay at this Crown Plaza or others if available for my travel needs.
Negatives: I would have liked a freebie breakfast/buffet.

Nice bed, lots of comfy pillows, but tiny tiny TV! A bit noisy from inside and outside noises. The staff was very nice. It was decent for the price I paid.
Positives: I like the price I paid for the room I got.

We got a great price on our stay, and it was definitely worth the price we paid. However, had I paid the full amount, I would have been much more disappointed. The worst part was the long trek to the room from the elevator. The hallway made turn after turn. We would have stayed longer there for the good price, but we were not willing to pay more.
Positives: The room itself was large and comfortable.
Negatives: The furniture was worn. Too long from the elevator to the room. The doors were in poor shape.

Clean, convenient, and comfortable. The bed was exceedingly comfortable. The bathroom was too small and cramped. It was tough to open the door when standing in there. Also, surprised by the smallish, tube old format TV vs. a 16:9 flat screen. Nice place, but not sure it's really 3.5 stars. More like 3.

The place has serious potential; management needs to look at upgrading the bed, comforter, sheets, towels and TV. Getting rid of that dated TV cabinet and tube TV and replacing it with a wall mount flat screen would be a huge steep forward.

The lobby area was being refurbished at the time of my stay. There was only one staff person at check in. She was friendly and helpful. The noise from my room was from aircraft adjacent to the hotel.

Once you find the hotel due to the poor map supplied by the hotel website, the hotel is charming and we liked it very much. Using an address on John Glen Drive is silly - the hotel is on Concord Blvd., which would have been very easy to find.
Positives: The hotel had a lot of atmosphere and was charming.
Negatives: The address should have been on Concord Ave, and the map supplied by the hotel website was horrible.

The interior work was not completed - center space not open. No coffee place - no Starbuck's. No lunch. Restaurant in large room with tables in corner. Room was very cold - only warm day was when temp. outside rose and solarium heated the space. My room temp was between 66 - 67 degrees max even when I adjusted thermostat to 74 degrees.

My overall experience positively exceeded my expectations as it was my first time staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. I will definitely consider staying at this hotel for future travels. Professional staff, immaculate and quiet room settings made my stay a pleasant stay.

The rooms on the back side of hotel sits at the end of a small airport runaway. It's loud, and we could hear everyone else's TV even from across the hall. At check-in, I wasn't given any information about what building we were in, where to park, not even a map of the site. The room smelled bad. The bedding was dirty with stains even hair on the decorative pillows. The AC sounded like it was going to explode. They do provide you with one little bag with earplugs, eye mask, and lavender spray, oh and a relaxation CD and only one for a two people in the room. Maybe this was so you can't see where you are, or hear the airplanes and to mask the foul odor. Lighting on the outside of the building is bad, some lights didn't even work. Overall I would not advise anyone to stay here even it if was free.

The hotel apparently had been remodeled inside. It was nicer than we expected. We were pleased with this hotel.
Positives: I thought the gift left on the bed was a nice added touch (lavender scented spray and eye comforter).

Sort of mixed on the bright side. Rooms well decorated, good beds. Pool closed by health department. Some airport noise, hall decor dated, front desk staff took forever to do anything, check in 10 min, check out 5 mints, call for wake up call get put on hold, in room menu to check out does not work. But I got a real cheap price and usually you get what you pay for.
