For the reasons above plus parking not convenient to proximity to room. Ordor of the room. Not enough towels.

Positives: Location to Solvang.

Negatives: Dirty pool, spa, & outdoor furniture, broken furniture in room, and sparce items in continental breakfast.

Unfriendly guess service at the front desk. I'd not choose to stay at this motel the next time .It's probably to pay a little extra for a better place.

Positives: Close to major attraction.

Negatives: Wireless internet did not work and hotel staff was reluctant to find out what happened . There was another guest also reported the same.ed

The staff would not accommodate me even though I am a California permanently disabled person. Also, the room only came with a double bed not a Queen. I am not likely to book again with Days Inn, it was very disappointing. And breakfast was a cattle call in a lobby so full we were not able to sit down, so we left and paid for our breakfast outside of the hotel. A little disappointing as we were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary.

Positives: The price.

Negatives: They would not accommodate me with a ground floor room even though I am disabled and had to struggle to go up stairs and only a double bed.

The price was great for the wine country area. Great location and nice for a quick weekend getaway. It has a small local sports bar on the location which is very popular with the locals and provides a little night life in an area that is in the sticks. Many Police noticed in the area so we felt safe.

Positives: Good value GREAT location.

Negatives: Rooms were too dark.

Difficult to get onto property from the street. Nothing "special" - for the price, I expected it to be in better repair. No pets. The complimentary breakfast was good, but the dining area was small and there wasn't enough seating/tables. The staff at the front desk was courteous, friendly, and helpful.

Positives: Decent complimentary breakfast.

Negatives: Couldn't find the elevator; only one ice machine; overpriced.

This was the third or fourth time my wife and I have stayed here. We like its location as about half-way from San Diego to Vallejo and we like to easily drive to Solvang. The hotel has plenty of non-smoking rooms and a nice continental breakfast to get us on our way. See no reason not to stay here again.

Positives: Convenient to 101 North as half-way stop and close to Solvang.

Negatives: Could hear outside activity a little too easily.

Pretty cool place to stay at. Close to Solvang and wonderful dining places.When I got home I watched a old movie called Sideways and everywhere I went and stayed at was in the movie. Likes that part.

Positives: Close to everything. I though location pretty good,had breakfast at Darlenes, loved it. Close to Solvang also

Negatives: It was a bit dated and had to ask for a frig, and never got one.

Very budget....things were broken or just did not work. Right on freeway and VERY noisey. Front desk had to ring bell many times....2 people came in while we were waiting to get rates. They both left after a long wait. Would not stay there again.

It was a great location to stay if you want to go wine-tasting in Santa Ynez Valley and visit Solvang. We were disappointed that the jacuzzi hot tub was not hot or bubbly! Our room was clean, but the tub showed age and had a rusty towel bar. Walls are too thin. Not good!

Positives: The morning/day staff was friendly and helpful. It was a convenient location.

Negatives: The jacuzzi was not hot or bubbly! The evening staff was not friendly.

We were kind of leery of staying at this hotel. We felt very welcome by the front desk. Laughed and joked with us during the entire check in process. The room was as clean as most at this star level. Did not find any obvious dirt. The hotel is easy to get in and out of. Right by the freeway and gas stations (but not too close). We did not get up in time to eat the breakfast so we have no opinion of that except that we know they do have one. If you expect a 5 star hotel for a 1 star price, please do not stay here. If you are realistic, go in with an open mind and enjoy the beauty of the area, your stay will be fine. We loved going into Solvang and gambling at Chum ash Casino. All in all, the hotel was quite functional and centrally located.

I will not stay there again. There was a window opposite to the entrance door, so any passer-by can look into your room. Curtaining is essential for privacy. They didn't prepare many items for complimentary breakfast. Most gadget were very old-fashioned and some of them didn't work. Only good thing is that it's close to highway 101 and Solvang.

Positives: Close to 101 high way.

Negatives: Expensive, not recommendable.

Spacious room, tiny bed. Nice balcony with view of pool. Tiny uncomfortable double Murphy bed (!) for 2 people to sleep on and no roll-away was available even though they said they would get one for us. This hotel would be great with new beds - O.K. for one person or one night as is.

Positives: Free breakfast, close to freeway.

Negatives: Only one double bed, no roll-away for second person.

The motel was alright, especially for what I paid. My only real complaint is that the heating/air is not something that automatically shuts off. Really annoying when one wakes up at 4 am sweating to death. Other than that it was alright. The continental breakfast was decent too.

This hotel was very poor quality. Toilet backed up, TV didnt work, staff refused to provide receipt even when I explained I needed it for reimbursement. There are better choices for the same or better price.

This hotel was cute in outside appearance and actually the room was nice and clean but the bed was very uncomfortable. The TV remote did not work all the time. Just sometimes.

Positives: There were lots of pillows on the bed.

Negatives: The public bathroom was disgusting. The beds were really hard and uncomfortable.

Overall, this was a good hotel to stay the night. Very close to Solvang and walking distance to Andersons split pea soup place. The continental breakfast was good. The room was quiet and clean. Definitely not a luxury hotel, but a fine place to stay for a good price.

Positives: It was quiet-very nice getaway from the city I live in.

Negatives: The room was very dark (although good if you want to sleep in) and the balcony was extremely close to another building.

Nothing much to do in Buellton, but Solvang is just a few miles away, which was nice.
