Overall<BR/>I will stay here again its great and seclusive just have some patience!

Positives: Very different and beautifully done, in a beautiful location as well!

Negatives: The staff at restaurant could be more attentive and had to wait for us to actually be in our room .

Great location. Small yet very stylish. Very cool rooftop bar and pool.

Positives: Small and chic.

Negatives: Paying $30 per night for parking.

In this hotel we only found rich people around 30 years (a little arrogant). The staff is very kind and helpful, but we didn't felt 'being &iacute;n the right place' with our little daughter. The location is fine and you can only valet park in this neighborhood.

Positives: The location, just around the corner of Rodeo Drive.

Negatives: I would not recommend this hotel to people with children, there's nothing to do for them and the pool ain't spectacular enough.

Thompson Beverly Hills is a cool place to stay, clean and well located. The roof top bar is a highlight, and the bar staff is fun, friendly, and unpretentious.

Positives: High cool factor and excellent location.

Negatives: A

Very disappointing for a four star hotel (actually it's far from a four star hotel). Small, poorly decorated rooms (a leather wall behind the bed and mirrored beams on the ceiling, oh please). We tried to take a quick tour of the roof top pool one evening and were literally evicted by a belligerent security man who demanded that we leave immediately 10 minutes before the place was to close (I guess he wanted to go home). Car recovery took 30 minutes. Otherwise service was adequately but far from gracious. Lobby was routinely packed with drunks coming and going from the rooftop bar.

Positives: Lovely roof top pool.

Negatives: It was like staying in the middle of a crowded trendy nightclub.

It's a terrific location if you want to be in Beverly Hills. Lots of convenience. Very friendly staff. Great little lobby bar.

Positives: A genuine effort was made to make the rooms both stylish and comfortable.

Negatives: Several of the lights in my room did not work.

We loved the boutique type of hotel, the terrace, the room and the location.

Positives: Comfort and service and location.

Negatives: Excessive use of black in decor.

The Thompson was a beautiful hotel in a great location. It felt very luxurious, clean, and welcoming. The rooftop pool was amazing - great views and a nice bar too, it was just too cold during our January visit to use it. The fitness center is very nice and has great equipment. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely, romantic stay while we celebrated my husband's birthday.

Positives: Roof top bar, friendly staff, and beautiful decor.

Negatives: Expensive valet and no options for street parking nearby.

If sleep is not a priority, then this hotel will work for you. The service is below average. It seemed like the staff was more focused on being cool than serving their guests.

Positives: The lobby area was quaint and cool.

Negatives: Small rooms. Noisy everywhere. Disconnected staff.

It is a slightly dated trend hotel. The hallways are dark, room numbers hard to read. The rooms are dark but spacious. The bars are small but the rooftop bar and pool are nice with good views.

Positives: The rooms were decent size for a single traveler.

Negatives: The television connection was not working properly.

Nice place for a couple that wants to shop or window shop in Beverly Hills. Decor is a bit too edgy for my taste, but the beds were the most comfortable beds ever! Front desk staff was very nice in person, not so much over the phone; information given was not consistent.

Positives: Incredibly comfortable beds, good location.

Negatives: Not suitable for families, no coffee maker, extra charge for double beds.

The atmosphere is sleazy and not comfortable for people with a decent level of morality.

Positives: Comfortable bed.

Negatives: Low class.

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpfull staff. Great rooftop bar. A bit noisy but one should expect a bit of noise when staying in downtown LA.

Positives: Rooftop bar.

Negatives: Very noisy.

The hotel is overrated due to the cost, I felt as if the room was a motel 6 with marble.

Positives: It was very nice and young hollywood.

Negatives: The room it self made me feel like i was in a motel 6 with marble.

Very nice - well decorated. Although rooms were a little small and balcony was pointlessly small. Still, a nice place.

This hotel has a unique, sort of hip modern retro look about it. Valet, bell & front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice and well equipped. Large Plasma TV, nice large stand up shower in the bathroom, overall very comfortable. The restaurant is excellent with an electric atmosphere, but very expensive, especially since the portions are small, but beautifully presented. I recommend this hotel for singles and couples under 40, and do not recommend it for families.

Positives: Great location with friendly helpful staff, an easy, pleasant stay.

Negatives: The rooms are not well insulated from hallway noise, so be prepared for that.

Super stylish and upscale, 4 stars, great for young couples but not good for families. Street noise was very loud. Close to Rodeo drive, but too far from any freeway.

Positives: Very upscale, modern & stylish. cool rooftop pool.

Negatives: Hotel room was very loud, street sounds and other guests made it very difficult to sleep.

They are trying to be upscale, but need more management. Nice gym equipment, but things not working (cable TV broken, machines broken). Pool area not staffed well. Had to ask to get our room cleaned up the second day. Unbelievable slow service in the restaurant and the smallest portions I have ever seen. I don't expect "Big Boy's, but give us a little more food for that price. Good: fun, young atmosphere, best location around, good sound-proofing in room (we were right next to elevator and couldn't hear anything outside the room), nice beds, interesting interior design.

Positives: Fabulous location, unique decor but a bit to "cold" and unfriendly feeling".

Negatives: Slow elevators, housekeeping not so good, no coffee pot or free coffee.

The Thompson Beverly Hills is extremely cool, from the Ferrari's in the garage even down to the black light switches. This is a place for wealthy hipsters to hang out in style. The rooftop is closed to hotel guests only and is amazing, with beautiful views of the surrounding valley. Not at all a place for kids. I felt a little out of my league there as everyone was so cool. Think a hotel that is more like a trendy nightclub. You will probably find some famous guests on the roof, we did.

Positives: Incredibly cool. We hung out with a famous movie star on the roof.

Negatives: Very pricy.
