The hotel has a very great location, and is well lighted, I understand remodeling is underway but that should be publicized, and the cleanliness of the common areas, ice, vending machines,elevators need some attention.

Positives: The staff service was responsive, and friendly.

Negatives: The elevators were unsafe and inoperative without warnings, and not clean.

Good location for my business travels. Room appears to have been redecorated recently but shortcuts taken in bath. Also noticed something not stable under the carpeting like a hole in sub floor. Bed was clean and comfortable. I would stay there again. but feel it was overpriced compared to other hotels in the area.

Positives: Bed was clean and comfortable.

Negatives: Tile was falling off wall in shower.

I'm very glad I stayed there before reading some of these reviews. It was a good value, the rooms were very nice, and appeared to have been recently updated. Didn't see the negatives that some others saw, except the surrounding neighborhood, which is a little questionable in places. This is offset by the much more convenient location to Downtown. Friendly staff.

Positives: Very nice, large, clean rooms.

Negatives: Elevator is dated, exterior shows age.

It was very run down, nothing about the hotel itself met my expectations. Every hour (at least) a fleet of police cars went flying by with sirens on. The parking lot was very dangerous; I had to run to prevent being attacked by three young men whom intended to beat and rob me. There was no Internet available. Internet was one of the features promised. The ceilings and floors had very bad water damage, and the floor was lumpy in the room. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

Positives: The front desk staff was very friendly.

Negatives: Everything. Terrible conditions, location, safety, and price.

For the most part, this hotel was better than most that I have stayed at. Phil's (hotel restaurant) had friendly service and I got my food fast and hot. The only thing that I had a problem with was that a few of the bathroom tiles looked as though they were about to fall off the walls. Overall, it was a good stay.

Positives: Bed was comfortable.

Negatives: Bathroom tiles were in need of repair.

The motel is old and has not been well-maintained. The rooms have been renovated but it is superficial and does not hide the age and lack of proper maintenance over the years. The public areas, such as walkways, elevator, vending areas, were filthy and obviously had not been cleaned in a very, very long time. Overall, I absolutely would not recommend this motel.

Positives: That's difficult. There really wasn't anything I liked.

Negatives: It had been converted into a restaurant. Overall, cleanliness was poor.

I didn't like much. The hotel was dirty. The carpets seemed filthy. The bathroom was in poor condition. The linens felt dirty. The location was questionable. The staff was friendly.

The hotel is an older one but well maintained. I would stay there again.

Aside from the heating unit, which was of a type that did not shut off at a certain temperature the hotel was ok. The room and linens were very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was very convenient.

Positives: People were very nice and helpful.

Negatives: The heating unit went all the time--got too warm.

Good value for the price. It had decent in room amenities, and you can tell they attempted a remodel recently. However they could go a little further with updating their restroom and convenience vending areas. Would stay here again, but will stay somewhere nicer if I have the money to next time.

Positives: Easy to find and great covered parking.

Negatives: Plumbing fixtures in bathroom need updating. Toilet hard to flush and the shower head were loud.

They transferred me to two other people who all read from the same script that since it was the day of booking, that not only could I not be upgraded to a different hotel, but also that I was not to be credited for my 3 days that I had booked. I could chose to not stay at the hotel if I didn't want to, but I wasn't going to get any of my money back. After hearing gunshots on the 1st evening, we left after 2 nights.

Positives: The front desk lady was very friendly.

Negatives: The ceilings are falling in, the facility is outdated and not in the safest part of town.

The buffet line was inoperative. Staff was friendly and Courteous. Curtains sealed out the light making the room dark for sleeping.

Will not stay here again. It needs a serious remodel. Ceiling has water damage, coffee outlet didn't work, carpet was dingy, dirt in an un-opened bar of soap.
