Carnifex Ferry Cottages are near Summersville Lake and a short hike to the Gauley River where you can fish and watch whitewater rafters battle the rapids. The Driftwood Lodge is set in a heavily wooded area on Summersville Lake and is convenient to fishing, boating, scuba diving, and sky diving.

Both properties are within a very short drive to the New River, the New River Gorge Bridge, rock climbing, mountain biking, hunting, history, horseback riding , whitewater rafting, and fantastic photo opportunities.Plenty of entertainment and shopping is a short drive away in nearby Summersville, Fayetteville, and Beckley.
