Quite lovely.

Positives: Excellent view, wonderful room. Great deal, stay was great!

Negatives: Had to pay for parking and lady at front desk was condescending.

I would never stay in this hotel again! A cleaning lady knocked on the door at 8am asking us when we would be leaving. The parking and Internet were additional costs, you can tell the hotel is old but has been upgraded, we could hear another shower going in the next room, the bed was very uncomfortable and my husband and I woke up sore the next day. It is too modern for my taste and so are the staff and the layout of the hotel. Would not recommend this for families...I have stayed in many 3 star hotels and this does not rank as one in my book!

Positives: The view of Mt. Rainier from our window.

Negatives: We did not like that the cleaning service knocked on the door at 8am to ask when we were checking out!

Too much elegant, far from fast food eatery, if you want to go to starbucks, you have to apy for parking. This hotel don't give complimentary breakfast and you have to pay for WiFi connection.

Positives: Maybe the art, but I didn't come to this hotel to treat like a museum. I want a family friendly hotel.

Negatives: Too much art, didn't expect to sleep in a museum.

First, beware that they advertise a room rate and then sock you with an unadvertised $15 a day parking fee.

Next, be very careful to watch for filth. I almost took a swig of water out of a paper cup, their cleaning staff left in my room. I probably should have looked into the cup first, but I presumed the cup would be clean. Thankfully, I smelled coffee just before my lips hit the cup. Then I looked down, I saw that someone (probably the previous guest) had already used it as a coffee cup.

After the dirty cup incident, I started to notice the stains & smudges on the glass desk, table tops. I complained at the front desk the next day and was assured the problems would be corrected. Upon my return, I noticed that the cleaning crew had again placed the same dirty cup on the tray next to the coffeemaker (as though it were clean).

Positives: Good location, modern facilities.

Negatives: Dirty, bait & switch tactics used to collect unadvertised parking fees.

Great location, very smart, polished hotel with nice amenities.

Positives: Lovely lobby, very grown-up, downtown vibe.

Negatives: Rooms were a bit small, and the bed was more of a full than a queen.

Located downtown so is convenient for business travelers. Our room, a 'deluxe king' was large enough to be comfortable for a multi-day stay. Color choices (Burnt-orange) were a bit overpowering. The room was fairly comfortable. There was a lockable stocked bar. Also a variety of snacks and other unique items by the bed. Unfortunately, no price list could be found. Not helpful for those on a budget. While the bed seemed harder than necessary, it was offset by having a range of pillows available. The room looked clean except for the bathroom floor.

Positives: Instant hot water, Quiet, nice room size.

Negatives: Bathroom floor looked dirty, Light switches not easily reached/not-existent. Pay to park.

Great, upscale hotel. Well decorated, clean, and classy. Seemed to be geared toward childless stays, but was not bad for myself and my two daughters (3 and 5 yrs old).

Positives: Cleanliness is a must for my daughters and me. This hotel was great!

Negatives: In my 21st floor room, windows were not secure, no safety devices to prevent kids from falling out.

Comfortable, convenient, classy, fun.

Positives: Bedding was very fluffy and comfortable! .. great location.

Negatives: Hot tub was closed for remodeling!

Contemporary and clean. If you are looking for sleek and modern, stay here. Eco-friendly environment in the heart of downtown Tacoma.

Positives: Priceline price! The robes and bedding were fantastic!

Negatives: Paid parking - really? No free internet - what luxury hotel charges internet access?

The Hotel Murano was located right downtown Tacoma. The staff was friendly, and the art work terrific. There is nothing for kids to do, so
I recommend adding something for kids. There were parking fees added on for each day above the bid price. This hotel is better for business travelers than families. The view from the upper floors was nice.

Positives: The art work and featured artist were terrific.

Negatives: Nothing for kids to do.

The valet service, the hotel appearance, the artwork, the room and it's decor, and my overall experience was excellent at the Hotel Murano. If I travel to Tacoma again I will opt to stay at the Hotel Murano. It is especially great if you are attending a concert at the Tacoma Dome because you only have to walk 1 or 2 blocks to a free city tram that will drop you off 1 or 2 blocks away from the Dome. It arrives every 10 minutes which is nice and runs until midnight so you can go back to your hotel area after the concert too. Tacoma was a lot nice than I had anticipated and am excited to go back again sometime.

Positives: The hotel was very nice and surpassed my expectations. I will definitely stay there again if I am traveling to Tacoma.

Negatives: I liked everything about the experience I had at the Hotel Murano.

I had a great stay and loved the artsy style of this hotel. Amazing glass sculptures. I was here for work but also had two older children with me and felt it was family friendly, however, maybe not for younger children.

Positives: Elegant, classy, friendly staff, modern but comfortable.

Negatives: No pool and sauna/jacuzzi not working.

Positives: View was terrific and the rooms were quiet.

Negatives: Beds seem somewhat small.

Wonderful hotel, they got me an early check in and the room, bed,
TV was great. I do think that they should offer free wi-fi, that's just an upcharge that is so unwaranted these days.

Positives: Beautiful appointed rooms, lobby and soaps. Nice view.

Negatives: Parking in Tacoma for $15.

The hotel was nice on first arrival. Room design was very nice, great view of the city, bathroom appeared to be clean but then noticed hair in tub.

Positives: The bed was very comfortable.

Negatives: Bathroom was not cleaned well.

For the regular price they charge I would never stay there. There was nothing worth a night. I felt I was not high enough class to be there by the way I was treated by a male staff at check in. It met my expectations for a clean hotel but I would not stay there again.

Positives: Clean and air conditioned.

Negatives: Not family friendly! There was no pool, the restaurant closed at 9pm and it is not located in a safe area of Tacoma.

Hotel Murano is a classy hotel that I would not hestitate to stay in again. The rooms were very clean and the excitement in my grandchildren's faces and laughter let me know that I had made the right choice. I regret that I didn't order room service for them so I will definitely have to stay another time in the near future.

Positives: Modern, beautiful decor, convenient to downtown area.

Negatives: Pay to park and the wait for valet to deliver car.

I would rate this hotel very high! This hotel is very fancy. I love all the art decor through out the hotel. Very clean and friendly.

Positives: The bed was really comfortable. Very nice hotel.

Negatives: It was a little noisy from the kids on the other side.

Excellent overall quality. A wonderful showcase for the glassworks of the Tacoma area in conjunction with the museum of glass.

Positives: An excellent boutique hotel!

Negatives: Given the start level, they could use better linens on the beds.
