Great hotel! Clean and friendly staff.
Positives: The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Also the TV was awesome!
Negatives: Location was a little outside of Downtown.

I arrived at the hotel in the middle of a snow storm and everything was crowded. Many guests were last minute arrivals attempting to get shelter. However, I thought the hotel staff did the best they could under the circumstances. The rooms were very well maintained and clean. I wasn't wild about the location, but any port in a storm.
Positives: It was clean and well appointed.
Negatives: TV set up was confusing.

The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable. We didn't have any kind of view, but it didn't really matter. The staff was very nice as well and there is free valet parking (bonus!) in an underground secure lot.
Positives: The free shuttle to downtown was great.
Negatives: I wouldn't describe this as Central, which is what we requested. But not far off.

Excellent friendly service - shuttle service & drivers, employees behind counter and maid service - all great! Excellent food both in bar and from room service.
Positives: Beds were great, excellent location - close to Qwest & Safeco.
Negatives: Police/paramedics were in building 3 times in 2 days.

Overall a good facility - but sort of like staying at an interstate interchange.
Positives: View from roof top pool.
Negatives: Isolated from downtown area.

Great high quality hotel. Be prepared for game nights, they get a little wild. Not a car friendly hotel.
Positives: Location was perfect for a "Seattle on foot" trip.
Negatives: Some guests got out of hand on game night.

Very nice place. Great if attending Mariner or Seahawk games. Clean and comfortable rooms with little interior noise. Train whistle noises were not pleasant. Nice facilities. I would stay here again.
Positives: Clean, wet bar, modern, nice staff, comfortable bed, and downtown shuttle.
Negatives: Train noise and proximity to good restaurants.

Everything was great except for the extremely loud horns from the trains across the street almost every hour. So loud it would set off car alarms that made the noise situation even worse.
Positives: Very nice rooms.
Negatives: Noise from the train every hour at night.

Outskirts of downtown long walk to city attractions. Train passed all night. They did accommodate our request for a quieter area of the hotel but still could hear train but did not wake us up. AC unit also noisy. Great staff.
Positives: Free shuttle.
Negatives: Noise level.

Rooms are very well equipped, with fridge, wireless internet, large screen TV, very comfortable beds, daily newspaper. Have stayed here before and will again...
Positives: Location To Safeco and Quest field.
Negatives: Not much to do within a short walking distance.

The hotel was clean, new and the staff friendly. The rooms were very modern and the bed was fantastic. The location was not spectacular for people who are not sports fans. It is not located close to the shopping district and that is a downfall. But I'm sure it would be an absolute find for people going to SafeCo Field or WaMu Theater.
Positives: The room was wonderful and the staff very friendly.
Negatives: The location. This was on the very edge of downtown (pike place).

The free shuttle was a very helpful service as I was attending a convention downtown. The hotel is located near the light rail so access the trip to and from the airport took 30 minutes and cost $2.50. The food in the restaurant was great!
Positives: The staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly.
Negatives: Noise from trains at night.

Negatives: Only drawbacks.

If you are in Seattle to watch a baseball or football game, then this is the hotel for you. The train noise is a serious issue, there is no place nice to walk to and that part of town is rundown.
Positives: Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Negatives: Noise from trains at three in the morning (with earplugs).

My stay at the Silver Cloud was comfortable. No complains, I was still able to check in late (12:30 am), and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. Non-smoking throughout the building is also a plus. They don't skimp on the minor details as well like providing refreshing Aveda soap and Internet wired or wireless - but these seriously add up.
Positives: Aveda soap and complimentary Internet.
Negatives: Considered part of downtown.

Staff is friendly but not over bearing. Helpful with instructions. Jerry's, the restaurant attached to the hotel, must be a hopping place during baseball season, a sports bar of sports bars. Off season it's a lot of TV screens for not a lot of people. Restaurant help was energetic and talkative.
