This is a perfect hotel to overnight for a few days if your goal is to enjoy the city and/or enjoy a brief stop while en route to another major destination. The staff are friendly, the rooms are smallish but clean and well lighted thanks to generous windows overlooking the neighborhood streets. You leave feeling well looked after. A fine place of repose.
Positives: Comfortable, conveniently located, clean.
Negatives: Rooms are sort of small.

The hotel was very handy to Seattle sites. It was a great location for heading out for site seeing.
Positives: Staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable.
Negatives: There wasn't a continental breakfast, although there was coffee and packaged breakfast bar.

One more thing was that parking was $20 a night.
Positives: It was clean, the staff was helpful and nice and the location was pretty good.
Negatives: We were not aware that only some rooms had AC.

Very well kept and clean for an older building. The best hotel mattress I have ever slept on!
Positives: Clean, cozy room with fully equipped kitchenette.
Negatives: Parking facilities are not close to hotel (about 2 blocks away). No elevator.

This hotel is great for anyone on a low budget the kitchenette is key. It was in a great location with a couple markets adjacent. The location also felt really safe walked downtown at night with no problems. Walking distance to lots of attractions could event see the space needle from my room. Great price and great location.<BR/>Would definitely stay there again.
Positives: Location was great and staff was very helpful.
Negatives: No free parking

This place is great if you are looking for a cheap location for the area. It has historic character and great staff, not to mention close enough to all the hot tourism sites that seem to be the biggest draw. Be prepared to not smoke in the rooms, (the law, historical society and gas stoves) and be prepared to take the stairs, this is not a place for anyone with a physical handicap.
Positives: Historic building, great service, close to Seattle center and tourism.
Negatives: Non smoking and smoking off property! No elevator.

If you can get off the street side of the hotel, it might be nicer. We had garbage trucks, traffic, drunks on the street, and we couldn't open our drapes because of the office building across the street (opened the bathroom window, but had to close the shower curtain). The pipe in the bathroom had water running down 24 hours. The bed lamps were right over our heads so you had to watch you didn't bang your head on the metal stem and they didn't even work.
Positives: I liked the basket of apples, availability of water, juice, coffee, tea, and wine reception in lobby area.
Negatives: It gave off the feeling of dingy because it was so dark in the room.

The staff was more than friendly. They made you feel right at home. One person in mind was Adam the young man that carried our bags and went out of his way to help us with anything that we needed. The room could used a new coat of paint and some screens on the windows, but we were very happy with everything else.
Positives: The friendliest of the staff.
Negatives: No AC in the rooms.

Negatives: Stairs.

Overall the queen ann. inn was a wonderful experience. Its location and price was very important to me and making it my selection for my weekend in Seattle. It is only walking distance to the space needle and key areNA There was also a bus stop across the street that made it easy to reach the downtown area and the sports stadiums.
Positives: The view of the space needle from the south side of the building.
Negatives: The room was a little noisy from the street. Parking was not convenient.

Central, but noisy location. Poorly maintained. If location is your only reason go for it, otherwise stay away.
Positives: Central Location to Seattle.
Negatives: Obviously hotel had gas leak earlier. Room smelled.

Hotel was an older building that was not very clean. It had smoking rooms. The ventilation was not good and we could not raise a window. It was stuffy and the AC was noisy and located where it blew directly on the bed. A problem came up because we booked the hotel and the hotel at first told us that we could not cancel a second night at the hotel due to its inability to provide a non-smoking room. However, after much negotiation, and probably because it was able to book the room at a higher rate, the hotel told us we could cancel without charge.
Positives: Staff cooperated in handling problem/complaint.
Negatives: We needed a non-smoking room; hotel did not have one.

The hotel appears to be an old apartment. Everything is very dated. The hotel needs to be remodeled. The staff is very knowledgeable and hopeful. They made the stay enjoyable.
Positives: Staff very helpful.
Negatives: Very outdated, needed remodeled.

The staff was extremely helpful directing us to bus routes and locations in Seattle we wanted to see. They were also very helpful making sure we were comfortable. The best part was the fact that we could walk 2 or 3 blocks and be at the Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Sci-Fi Museum, Experience Music project and others. It is also close enough to walk or take a quick bus ride to Pike Place, The Underground, the Aquarium, and other waterfront areas.
Positives: It was within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do on our visit.
Negatives: The stairwells have a musty smell and the bathrooms are small.

This hotel is very old, no elevator or air conditioner, small beds and smaller bathroom. With that being said, we were taking a cheap trip and this hotel did the trick. One minute away, walking distance from Key Arena, we also walked to the Space Needle, and to Pike Street Market. Right on the edge of the free bus zone, so the bus takes you all the way downtown for free. We were satisfied, so if you are looking for a place to sleep at night and shower in there morning in, this will work for you. If you spend a lot of time in your hotel room or are looking for maximum comfort and amenities, look elsewhere. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for, no major complaints. Sleep with the window open and it's naturally cool.
Positives: Location if you are in town for a basketball game, also a very quiet hotel.
Negatives: Cheap sheets, towels, furniture, everything, but quiet lets you sleep it off.
