I would stay here again. It was a very good location and the beds were very comfortable. The parking was expensive.
Positives: Great view and a very comfortable bed.
Negatives: The parking was very expensive.

It was perfect.

I would go here if I didn't care about getting a good work-out. The room and staff were lovely. I was very disappointed with the "fitness center" which was really nothing but a tiny room stuffed with a few bikes and balls.
Positives: Service express---incredibly friendly, helpful staff who could supply everything from toothbrushes to earplugs within minutes!
Negatives: The fitness "room" was horribly disappointing...basically only three bikes and a few balls in a very tight space.

Do not stay there. The staff are incompetent and lazy. Very rude and will do nothing to make your stay better.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: Everything, $40 a day parking, 100 dollars for 2 cheeseburgers, etc.

Comfortable, clean, and convenient.
Positives: Bed, pool area, and location.

Hotel was nice. Hotel bar was nice. Room was nice. The room was a little small, but had an amazing view of Seattle. I was charged from the mini bar something I didn't purchase, but that was immediately fixed upon checking out. Would stay here again if the other hotels that were closer to Safeco field were full. Usually I go to Seattle to watch baseball and it was quite a walk, but still within walking distance.
Positives: Ok location, pretty close to pikes place.
Negatives: Not as close as I'd like to Safeco field.

The front desk people were polite and patient but not helpful.
Positives: The location is great - in the heart of everything.
Negatives: The hotel is old and the worst we have stayed in any Westin. The lobby smells like gas. Rooms and carpet are dirty and depressing looking.

Older but well kept. Spacious rooms for a downtown city location. Lovely views of the city, Sound, or Lake depending on orientation & floor level.
Positives: Spacious room for a downtown urban center and lovely views.
Negatives: The quality of food at the breakfast cafe was mediocre at best.

The room was pretty "roomy" with large windows. Comfortable bed. Lobby area was pretty and had lots of casual seating for using the free wi-fi.
Positives: Location, views.
Negatives: Nothing

Self serve parking was closed, valet was $40 per day, when calling from the room for the car nobody answered.
Positives: Location, the brand.
Negatives: Starting to get dated, valet parking is the only available option.

Hotel lobby and rooms were nice.
Positives: View and room were spectacular.
Negatives: Hallways were drab and dark, check-in had a long line.

I have stayed frequently at the Seattle Westin. The front desk staff are always accommodating and ensure that I get the room with proper number of beds at check in and generally offer an upgrade. I have encountered negative attitudes when calling in to
But, as I said, once at the hotel, the front desk staff are pleasant and accommodating.
Positives: Excellent location.
Negatives: Parking a bit confusing..Westin garage not affiliated with hotel.

I have been SPG member for more than 10 years, the room smell like cigarette (extremely strong odor)and the unfriendly, not helpful and appears to be put out check-in staff. Other than that the stays was pleasant, concierge was very friendly and helpful.
Positives: Good location for all activities.
Negatives: One of the room smell like cigarette, SPG preferred staff was unfriendly, never smiled and not gave any option.

I had a great stay at The Westin Seattle - the location is convenient to public transit and shopping; friendly, helpful staff; good-sized, clean room.
Positives: Convenient location (2 blocks) to Monorail, Light Rail and buses.
Negatives: Internet is free in the hotel lobby, but there is a daily charge in the hotel room.

Convenient to everything downtown. Good small restaurant for a quick breakfast. Close to Macy's and other shopping. Spacious room with great king size bed.
Positives: Location, and
Negatives: Only problem was the slow elevator - we had to wait for quite awhile more than once.

This hotel must be viewed as a 4 star because of their location, because it was not for their rooms, service, or cleanliness. We actually booked for two nights and checkout after the first night because it was so horrible. We paid for another room at another hotel and lost the money that we had paid for at the Westin. This is the second time that we have stayed at a Westin and been let down by the star rating.
Positives: The hotel was conveniently located.
Negatives: The room, the bed, the service, the cost of parking, not clean, needs a remodel.

Beautiful lobby and great services. Bar was nice and the 5th Avenue cafe had nice breakfast selections that were much less expensive than room service. Nice pool. Hot tub was being repaired.
Positives: Excellent location, staff and beds, bedding.
Negatives: Our entire floor had a funny smell.

Hotel was situated perfect for hitting all the shopping areas, was close to the new link train that comes from the airport, had all the amenities you could want without having to leave the hotel if you didn't want to.
Positives: Plenty of facilities so didn't feel crowded, close to shopping, cozy beds.
Negatives: Nothing

The location and quality of the Westin make it a safe bet for all types of travelers.
Positives: The view from the room was amazing.
Negatives: The room amenities were limited.

Extremely well located, waits for elevators were long (ie 15 minutes) so took the stairs (12 floors - we are fit!)
A few times. Beds very comfortable and rooms spacious. Bathrooms standard issue appointed well, but nothing luxurious. Staff friendly at reception. A great business hotel, could do with a bit more home like touches (simple flowers, spa baths, robes etc.) For the weekend traveler if they want to attract more of that market.
Positives: They listened to our special requests re bed size, location of room etc by email and fulfilled them!
Negatives: A bit corporate anonymous for a weekend away style weekend.

Typical Marriott quality - intelligent, kind staff who go out of their way to help, high-quality room furnishings with an unobtrusive style (I like that). Pretty cool old building: the Alaska Building. We could see Russia from our window.
Positives: Super-comfortable bed, adept and helpful staff.
Negatives: In financial district, pretty dead after 6 pm.
Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 16 Nov 2010 rated 6 out of 10.
The Westin Seattle cannot be beat for location-center of town and in close proximity to everything you'd want to see. However, the hotel itself is in need of an updated look. My room's decor appeared to be early '90's and also was in need of carpet cleaning. The Westin is not bad for the overnight stay, however, I would not stay for an extended visit.
Positives: Great location and excellent shower.
Negatives: This hotel needs upgrading!

Beautiful hotel in downtown Seattle. Towers provide great views of city and waterfront. Easy walk to shops, coffee, tourist attractions. The higher up the better!
Positives: Loved the city/water views and openness of the room.
Negatives: Bathroom was very cramped.

As most Westins that I have stayed at before, the beds were "heavenly". The desk agent was courteous, but not overly friendly. I got the feeling that she placed me in a lower-level room (2nd floor) with two beds (I was staying alone) and not a nicer room in a higher level.
Positives: Hotel was walking distance to downtown shopping, dining, etc.
Negatives: The desk agent gave me a room on a lower level and my view was the roof of another building.

I was very disappointed with my experience at the Westin Seattle. I know we were not guaranteed a King room, however they tried to give us a room with a pull down Murphy Bed. Once we got to the room, I went back to the front desk and they were very rude. They had told me they were completely over-booked/sold out and could not accommodate my King room request.
Positives: Location was great.
Negatives: Terrible service from staff, room not as described, and construction ongoing.

Excellent stay. Park next door at the lot that has the skybridge (enter off of 5th avenue). Easy to walk to all tourist activities in the area. Room very comfortable. A bit dated, but for the price, I was very happy.
Positives: Great location, excellent value.
Negatives: Parking Price.

Great location and helpful, friendly staff made it a good stay. Comfortable bed and beautiful city views from the room. Decent gym and pool. On the down side the bathroom is small and the tub tiny. Too much chlorine in the hot tub.
Positives: Nice bed and linens.
Negatives: Tiny tub; small bathroom, aging finishes.

Overall, it was a wonderful place. The one restaurant I visited I was disappointed with, they had a poor selection of wine and even though I ordered only soup and salad.
Positives: Friendly and the location was great.
Negatives: Housekeeping started at 9 am.
Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 08 Oct 2010 rated 9 out of 10.
The location is spectacular. I didn't get to use the pool, but plan on it the next time. Parking is pretty steep so best to not drive or park elsewhere. The wireless is only complimentary in the lobby which is inconvenient. I had a spectacular room on the 32nd floor, away from the elevator with an amazing view of the city. The room was quiet and the staff super friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Positives: The view of the space needle, water and city.
Negatives: The wireless was not complimentary as stated in other sites.
Reviewer: Not provided on Tue 05 Oct 2010 rated 3 out of 10.
Really disappointed with how loud my stay was. I went away to rest and ended up needing to recoup from the night away! My room was on the 32nd floor so the view was spectacular. Unfortunately, the room was right next to the elevator which sounded like a freight train that shook the room every time it came to the top of the building. Very loud, disruptive. There was a loud party in the room next to me that I had to call security about twice. They finally kicked them out around 2:30 am. I asked the manager to comp my breakfast room service which they did. I am not a picky eater, but wow, left 1/2 of it on the plate. Not good (salty and not warm). Oh well - I like the Westin normally. I just didn't have a good stay this time.
Positives: Love the decor, the amenities, the location and view were spectacular.
Negatives: Room was located right next to the elevator. Sounded like a freight train that shook the room every few mins.

The hotel does not deserve a high star rating. It is very ordinary -- except for the location in downtown Seattle which is excellent for tourists.
Positives: Location in downtown was very good.
Negatives: Did not like the check in service. Room was across from elevator -- not great.

Positives: View of city.
Negatives: Shower water power was weak.

I'd stay there again but not at the rack rate. Far too much money for an old property whose rooms have not been updated in some time.
Positives: The beds were terrific. Service in the lounge was good.
Negatives: Rooms were outdated.

Great location and nice fitness facility. Internet connection in lobby worked OK, but not great. Full sized beds should be replaced with queens. Parking is expensive.
Positives: Location.
Negatives: Full sized beds.

We found it to be very pleasant and enjoyable. Our experience there was quite satisfactory. Would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.
Positives: Room, view, treatment of priceline customer no different than full paying customer.
Negatives: Confusion on parking and parking garages. Inclusion of some sort of breakfast with stay would be welcomed, as is offered at some other hotels.

Positives: Comfortable bed; nice toiletry items.
Negatives: Expensive parking; mold smell coming from the bathroom.

It's amazing that this huge Westin doesn't operate a restaurant in the morning. All it has is a coffee bar, quite an inconvenience for someone who likes to eat breakfast.
Positives: Very comfortable room; good amenities.
Negatives: Inferior carpeting in room; kind of surprising.

Great price on Priceline! This hotel was at a great location for the Monorail to the airport, and only 5 blocks from the waterfront. The beds were comfy, and the staff in the Valet and Baggage area were so nice!
Positives: Great downtown location - comfy beds! Bar was great.
Negatives: Behind the bed table was nasty.

Great location, comfortable bed, but needs further updating in the hallways going to your room.
Positives: Good location.

I believe the Weston is a great choice when visiting Seattle. It is located in the heart of the city and close to several Seattle attractions. The staff at the Weston go beyond the standard to offer their customers world class treatment.
Positives: The concierge services were outstanding. The staff was very informative and personable.
Negatives: I think the cost for valet service is quite excessive.
Reviewer: Not provided on Sun 23 May 2010 rated 7 out of 10.
The hotel was clean, very much in the area of places I wanted to visit. A city map showing some of the tourist attractions would have been helpful to have in the room as they are close to a lot of places. Unfortunately, we got "taken" by a cabbie for a ride we didn't need.
Positives: Great location to the things I wanted to do.
Negatives: Charged for WiFi usage. Charged for assumed use of valet parking.
Reviewer: Not provided on Thu 20 May 2010 rated 8 out of 10.
Lounge area looked beat. Chairs and sofas were dirty and needed a good cleaning. Except for one of the bartenders, the staff was very friendly and attentive.
Positives: Location to Pike Market and the excellent view.
Negatives: No fan in the bathroom, no mirror in the bedroom area.
