Very happy with the hotel - nice decor and room was painted three different colors so that made the room prettier than a lot of other hotels.

Positives: Large bathroom, comfortable bed, and pretty surroundings.

Negatives: Didn't really like the bathroom products and parking price.

Overall, it was a very good hotel. Everyone was genuinely friendly and they were happy that you chose to stay at their hotel. Everything else was wonderful, and I would recommend the hotel to my friends and family.

Positives: The location was perfect, within walking distances to all that Downtown Seattle had to offer.

Negatives: The bathroom was rather small and the toilet was rather low and it hurt my back.

I would stay there again, but only if I could get the price that I did on Priceline.com. I would never consider paying the hotel's going rate. The clerk behind the counter was not helpful. The room was okay, but the lights were goofed up, couldn't find switches on some, decor was odd and low end and the sink was clogged.

Positives: Conveniently located to Pike's Market.

Negatives: $36 parking, $10 for first hour. Plumbing needs work.

This is an elegant hotel perfect for leisure or business travel that has a great location for exploring downtown Seattle.

Positives: I like the fact that they had hair and bath product in refillable dispensers.

Negatives: Valet parking prices.

This hotel has it all. I would not even think about looking at any other place to stay during my next visit to Seattle. Kimpton Hotels are always my number one choice.

Positives: The service was outstanding.

Negatives: That it is so far away from where

Quite nice interior, with very nice rooms. Although I didn't use the bar downstairs, it looked like a very nice place to have a quiet conversation.

Positives: The hotel staff, including the bellman, were very genuine and helpful.

Negatives: The location is close to Pike Place, but this particular street is semi-dangerous.

Positives: Location, cleanness and quality of 4-star grade and price I paid.

Negatives: None.

WONDERFUL soft beds, with luxury bedding. No shower cap available in room, but they did provide me one when asked. All in all, was a great visit.

Positives: Location to hub of Seattle.

Negatives: Cost $7.00 for a bottle of water in the room.

I love this hotels sense of style. The room was so inspiring and tastefully decorated. The amenities were lovely. The only thing missing was a free breakfast and in room coffee makers. They do serve complimentary coffee in the lobby till 9 or 9:30am but we were lucky we got up in time to get it. (not that you are very far away from a coffee shop in any part of Seattle). I would love to stay here again. And next time I will bring my dog! (My only one negative was that the womens lobby restroom stall doors would not stay closed and they clearly need new fixtures. But this is the lobby, not the rooms, so its not that big of a deal.) I love the Alexis!

Positives: I loved all the art, the furnishings and fixtures, the complimentary hot toddies in the evening, and the location.

Negatives: The only thing missing is a free continental breakfast.

Positives: Comfortable beds, friendly staff.

Negatives: Had to stay with one king & pullout rather than 2 queens.

Kimpton hotels are so accommodating and wonderfully done. Internet was fast, room was gorgeous and large.

Positives: Loved it!

Negatives: Street noise a slight issue.

They were very friendly and helpful while we were there. Provided valuable directions and information that made our stay pleasant. The $10 million in renovations were beautifully done and made this older hotel seem band new.

Positives: Eco friendly and gave us free parking because we drive a Prius.

Negatives: Power washing the outside of building while we were there.

Negatives: Nothing.

My husband and I always hate staying at hotels because they never feel clean. The rooms are usually dark, dimly light, and no matter how often the rooms are cleaned, they just don't feel clean. The Alexis is completely different. The room we stayed in was painted in a light color and felt very fresh. The room had big windows letting in lots of light. Everything felt so clean that we didn't feel like we had to sanitize everything we touched. The bathroom floor was marble and felt cleaner than other places we have visited. The bed was comfortable, and the small sitting area was wonderful when we were resting our tired feet. I loved the director of pet relations. It was great to stay in a pet-friendly hotel that didn't smell like it! I would gladly tell any of my friends or family about this hotel. In fact, I already have!

Positives: Clean, comfortable, and centrally located.

Negatives: Hair dryer available but not in the room, no shuttle to the hotel from the airport.

Beautiful atmosphere with a great staff. From the moment valet takes your car until you check out the staff will cater to your whims. They had extensive knowledge of the area, restaurants and activities. The lobby is beautiful! The room was gorgeous and the beds were comfortable.

Positives: Beautiful atmosphere friendly staff.

Negatives: Late night room service menu was inadequate.

This is a great hotel in the heart of Seattle. Formerly condos, the rooms are very large and featured a separate sitting area. The complimentary wine hour was very nice. The front desk recommend an excellent restaurant for dinner and made a reservation for us.

Positives: Beautiful, art-filled boutique hotel with huge rooms

Negatives: $34 to park!

This hotel over all was great! The staff accommodated me, my wife, and our four friends, they were going above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate the amount of people we had with us. They tried so hard to get all of us to have adjoining rooms. We will for sure be back.

Positives: Hospitality was amazing. Genuinely great service and great people.

Negatives: The valet parking was a little pricey.

Not having been to the Alexis for 5 years I was a bit apprehensive. Five years ago it was a nice hotel that had seen better days. We were pleasantly surprised at the lovely update that had taken place there. The hotel looked wonderful and our room was fantastic and comfortable. We did have some neighbor problems with the room directly above us being very noisy but the front desk staff was wonderful at getting the problem resolved. I would absolutely recomend the Alexis to all my friends. My only complaint was the fact we had to pull around the corner to a no stopping zone to unload the car. This apparently is only necessary for certain hours of the day but I did find this uncomfortable.

Positives: Marvelous staff.

Negatives: Needed to stop in a no stopping zone to unload.

Room very upscale with layout (French doors); furnishings and arrangement. We felt like we were in a European hotel. Staff very friendly. Only complaint is that our room was right by elevator and noisy partiers got off elevator all night.

Positives: Felt like a European hotel -room layout unusual in that it wasn't a square box.

Negatives: Location - when it's cold outside its too long to walk into core Downtown Area.

We liked the hotel. It was very beautiful and the art was especially nice. The service was good. Our only problem was the parking, but they ran to get things from the car if you needed them.

Positives: High quality shampoo's and good service.

Negatives: Couldn't find where to park, it is valet, don't know where the car was kept.
