This hotel was not worth the price we paid for the night. We were put in a room at the end of a hall of 15 or so other rooms with their doors open where some kind of jewellery sale was going on. We were not advised of this at reservation time a week prior or when we checked in. The door to our room looked like it had been smashed in at one time and was cheaply repaired and the tiles in the washroom were coming off. When we asked for another room due to not expecting this jewellery sale set up in hotel rooms, we were rudely told we could only switch rooms if we hadn't used anything in the room. We switched to another room, as we went up the stairs to the room on the next floor we noticed old mattresses, box springs and boxes stacked in this area. Once in our new room we listened to the toilet moan loudly all night as other people in the hotel flushed, and the alarm in the room adjacent obviously had not been turned off and went off at 6am for the next two hours. We felt like we were staying in a seedy hotel. We will never go there again and it makes us question the standards of Best Western.

Hotel was your basic run of the mill establishment. In order to justify the high cost of staying the night, I would suggest they update their lobby and replace their carpets and bed spreads. Way overpriced for what you are getting.

Positives: Staff was relatively friendly.

Negatives: Rooms not very insulated. Could hear other guest getting up in the morning.

It is an old hotel. The windows do not open. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. No restaurant on site.

Positives: Reception staff was friendly and courteous.

Negatives: The breakfast area did not nearly accommodate the guests. When I asked if there were trays to take food to room, I was told there were trays in rooms.

It was clean, had a good location but compared to other places we have stayed it was expensive.

The Lobby smelled highly of smoke from the bar and so did the restaurant. The room, however, was pleasantly clean and beautiful! Lots of room in the jr suite but we expected the king bed to be in a room with a door and the living room to be separate. That was a little disappointing. There was a lack of toiletries, but the room was quiet, clean, comfortable and fabulous.

Positives: Room was clean and large.

Negatives: We expected a jr suite to have a bedroom with a door so there would be 2 separate areas.

As above the bathroom was gross not because it was wheelchair accessible but the chair in the shower stall looked dirty and the shower head had to be held in order to have a shower. Room also smelled like it had been sprayed with bug repellent.

Positives: The hot breakfast.

Negatives: The bathroom I wanted a bath and had a wheelchair accessible bathroom.

The hotel was clean, friendly and offered a wonderful continental breakfast that was more than we expected. I will recommend this hotel to others.

Positives: It was close to the attractions we wanted and very affordable.

Negatives: I found nothing to dislike about the hotel.

For the purpose that we went and the fact that it had a shuttle to and from the casino, it served our purposes well. For a romantic getaway I would not recommend it but for a weekend shopping and going to the casino, it worked out great.

Positives: The staff was friendly and helpful.

Negatives: They said free appetizers in the bar but only 1 appetizer was free and it was not very good.

Convenient location, spacious rooms, nothing extra but adequate and quiet. Good breakfast and nice lobby.

Positives: The lobby was beautiful and the continental breakfast was biter than most.

Negatives: The sheets on the bed seemed to be too small and would not stay on the mattress.

I would not return to this hotel. No glasses in room, no wine opener in hotel, any shower caps or shampoo/conditioners etc. Pool didnt seem clean nor did Jacuzzi that only had room for 3 people.

Negatives: Halls smelled like skunk and rooms had bad smell.

Handy for our purposes. Shuttle service quick and friendly. Hotel needs some updating.

Positives: Great lobby. Complementary breakfast was good.

Negatives: No 24 hour coffee. Rooms were decorated in too dark colors.

I think this hotel needs a renovation. Although the rooms were tidy and clean, they still had areas where dirt has been accumulated over the years. When you open the window (which is a great feature) the screen smells like it's about 30 years old and brings the stench into the room. Just some fresh paint and deep scrubbing of the bathroom and floors would probably be sufficient.

Positives: The staff was extremely pleasant, the location was good.

Negatives: I thought the rooms were a bit outdated and although tidy, not super clean.
