The Old Rose Tavern Bed and Breakfast is a historical Inn established in 1835 at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the early 1800's a stage coach line ran between Washington, D. C. and Charlottesville. Tradition dictates that the Rose Tavern in Wolftown was one of three stopping points for aristocrats traveling to the Virginia counties of Madison, Culpeper, Orange and Albemarle.

The Pink Rose Suite welcomes you to a private bedroom with queen-sized bed, private sitting room with a single-size sofa bed and a private bath with a claw-foot tub. The Pink Rose Suite comfortably accommodates up to 3 adults. The Red Rose Suite features a private bedroom with a double bed, a private sitting room with a queen-size sofa bed and a private bath with tub and overhead shower. Guests applaud the ample seating that makes this suite a comfortable and private place for family or friends to enjoy breakfast together or just visit at length.
The Red Rose Suite comfortably accommodates up to four adults.

The Yellow Rose Suite has a spacious private bedroom, a private sitting room with queen-size sofa bed, a private bath with tub and overhead shower.
The suite also includes a private kitchen with private entry on the ground level of the bed and breakfast.
This is our most popular suite for guests attending events where they will prepare/take food.

We are surrounded by historically significant sites such as The Civil War Trail which resumes just minutes east of here. Day trips along the Trail will take you to Fredericksburg, Brandy Station, Gordonsville, Culpeper, Spotsylvania, Wilderness, Chancellorsville and many more places of interest. Some of our nation's founding fathers called nearby estates their home. The area is also steeped in Revolutionary War heritage. From Monticello to Montpelier to the home of the Culpeper Minutemen, nearby historical treasures are to be found in any direction.
