We are walking distance from the renowned restaurant of the Inn at Little Washington, and minutes from Shenandoah National Park, award-winning wineries, horseback riding and antique stores. Your day here begins with a home-cooked breakfast in our sunroom. Lounge in the library (with fireplace) or retreat to the quiet of one of our 5 guest rooms, each with private bath. All guests are welcome to make use of the Inn’s amenities, including the Library with fireplace, Sunroom with tables for reading or game-playing, Front Porch with its views of the mountains, and our gardens. And eveyone’s day begins with a home-cooked breakfast served in the Sunroom. The restored 1850s farmhouse features 5 individually decorated guestrooms, each with its own character (and each with private bath and individually controlled heat and air). Mountain View Room - A large, second-floor room with western views of Jenkins Mountain and Shenandoah National Park. Enjoy a queen-size sleigh bed with extra pillows and special linens. Reproduction period wallpaper, tables with two comfortable chairs and private bath with tub/shower make this a grand room year round.
Bradams Ridge Room - The only room with both Eastern and Western exposures, this cozy, second-floor room with a queen-size bed has both wonderful morning light and a view of the mountains. A leather club chair, antique rocker and traditional, Virginia-made wood tables and chest complete this pleasant retreat. Private bath with double-headed shower.
Blue Room - A spacious second-floor room with windows overlooking our yards, elegant draperies and reproduction period wallpaper. Enjoy an antique, queen-size iron bed with extra pillows and classic linens, reproduction period game table with chairs, wing-back chair for reading, glorious morning sunlight and private bath with tub/shower.
Garden Room - On the first floor, our most elegant room has sun-filled morning views of our yards. Featuring a queen-size sleigh bed with reproduction period wallpaper, two Eastlake sidechairs from the Shenandoah Valley, antique table, and an extraordinary Eastlake dresser with original marble and mirror (circa 1890). Private bath with tub/shower.
Shenandoah Suite - The studio apartment on our first floor features a large bedroom with king-size bed and a comfortable, overstuffed loveseat, western views of Jenkins Mountain and Shenandoah National Park, and a complete, private, eat-in kitchen with all of the necessities to make this your home-away-from-home. Private bath with shower. Ask about special rates for extended stays.

From the District of Columbia (approximately 70 miles):
Take Interstate 66 West to Exit 31 (Route 245/The Plains/Old Tavern). Turn left and drive south on Route 245 approximately 2 miles past Old Tavern to the stop sign at the intersection with U.S. Highway 17. Turn left and drive south on Highway 17 toward Warrenton. Stay on the highway as it becomes Business 17 (do not take the bypass) and in a few blocks you will be in Warrenton. Turn right at the first stop light onto Business 17/Business 29/U.S. 211 West toward Culpeper. In just over half a mile, at a large intersection, bear right onto 211 West toward Washington, Va. Proceed west on 211 for approximately 20 miles to the first exit for the Town of Washington, to your right. As you enter town, turn left on Gay Street and continue south, past the stop sign, to the end of Gay Street. We are at 160 Gay Street, on your left. You may park anywhere on the street in our block.
From Charlottesville (approximately 50 miles): Take U.S. 29 North to Madison, turning left onto Va. Route 231 North toward Sperryville. Route 231 ends at the intersection with Va. Route 522. Turn left onto Route 522 and enter Sperryville. Turn right in Sperryville onto U.S. 211 East/Va. Route 522 North. Proceed east on 211/522 to the first exit for the Town of Washington, to your left. As you enter town, take the first right (Porter Street) and then the first right, onto Gay Street. We are at 160 Gay Street, on your left. You may park anywhere on the street in our block.
