This hotel is outside of DC and a couple of miles from a Metro stop. I had some difficulties communicating with staff members on things such as soda machines being empty, no access to Internet: "So if I can't get on then I am out of luck?

Yes and trying to get a refrigerator for the room. Lots of travelers that weekend, so that may have contributed to the noiseness in the hallways (not hotel's fault, just rude guests). Pool wasn't open very late, bar and restaurant are very expensive. Construction is currently occurring right now in front of the hotel, so access in and out is a little difficult. Clean rooms, friendly staff and (even if they aren't that knowledgeable about the area). Great place if you just want to be outside of DC, but build in the extra time for the drive to the Metro - and figure out how to get there on your own because the staff doesn't know.
Positives: Clean, good for DC travel.
Negatives: Noisy, hard to get to (construction) and some unhelpful staff.

Stayed 5 nights and rode Metro to DC daily. Overall, a nice hotel in a good location, but can be overrun by convertioneers. During our stay, there was a large gathering of teens there for a competition of some kind, which could be heard in the halls and in adjoining rooms. Sound control is seriously lacking. For dining at a more reasonable rate, try Fudruckers, Olive Garden, and Panera nearby. Also, there are many selections in the multiple food courts in the mall.
Positives: Close to Tysons Corner Mall and Metro (about 4 miles).
Negatives: Bring earplugs! Noise levels extremely loud. Could hear exact words from people in next room and those waiting by elevator.

Excellent value for your dollar.
Positives: Everything worked. Very courteous staff.
Negatives: Construction around hotel made access difficult.

Sheraton refused to give me single bed and charged me $40.00/night for single bed. I took it at first because I was tired but later in the evening checked out the hotel lost $40.00 they charged me.
Positives: Nothing they refused to honor my rate and had to pay $40.00 per night. After my wife found out we check out 09:00 pm and got another hotel.
Negatives: I had to check same night therefore lost $40.00 upgrade.

Good location, bad traffic around the hotel though due to heavy road construction, clean, roomy, nice beds.
Positives: The beds and sheets were great
Negatives: TV remote is very slow and at times does not work with the TV's.

The beds were comfortable. It is good for a single business traveler, but way to easy to here TV's and conversations in the next room. The business center was way to open and noisy and I tried three different times on two separate days.
Positives: The pool, hotel manager was helpful and friendly.
Negatives: Garbage around the outside, very noisy, walls very thin.

Traveled with my 17 year old son. Hotel was very nice, from the lobby to the room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in quite early, which helped a lot. The hotel was easy to get to with plenty of parking, and was a short drive to the DC Metro, which was important to us. We would not hesitate to stay again and we would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
Positives: Very nice, high quality hotel. Convenient location. Would definitely stay again!
Negatives: Outrageous prices for food, just like most restaurants.

Not likely to stay here again at any price. Restaurant overpriced.
Positives: Convenient - lovely lobby.
Negatives: Received first floor room in the high rise hotel with stains on the carpets and walls.
