The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The beds were exceptional. It would be great if the breakfast was included. Its about $17 for adults and 5.95$ for kids a bit much. The amenities are not that great at the hotel.

Positives: The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: The parking was very expensive and inconvenient. Also our bathroom was not cleaned the first night.

Staff was professional, friendly, and helpful throughout 3 day visit. There was nothing that staff did not make accessible for us. Felt like family despite highly sophisticated surroundings. Although we have been traveling to Richmond for over 60 years, the staff made the visit so lovely that we cannot remember ever being treated so royally. There were two mistakes that were made in our room preparation and in room service but the staff was so apologetic and quick to compensate that it was impossible not to remain satisfied.

Positives: Staff was extraordinarily helpful and friendly.

Negatives: Found stranger's hair curler under comforter; room service insisted that carrot cake was cheesecake.

I made the reservation two months + ahead of time, had multiple emails back and forth with the hotel (who finally said that I'd have two beds). Finally on the day that I was heading towards the hotel I called to make sure there would not be any hang-ups. The back and forth started again. After several calls I finally talked to (desk clerk)& she had me a non-smoking room with two beds when I arrived 5 hours later.

Positives: One desk clerk straightened out a Priceline/Hotel mess.

Negatives: Ive used a 3rd party reservation many times and getting the bed

From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect. The room was clean, neat and nicely appointed. The staff was absolutely spot-on! The valet service for the car was also very nice! They would offer directions every time they brought the car around. They gave us loaner umbrellas one day when it was raining along with a downtown map showing us where the museum was we were interested in seeing. The staff was all well dressed, clean, and well spoken. My wife and I were always addressed as sir or ma'am. The pool was great! Nice and warm!! The restaurant was delicious too and the service was great there as well.

Positives: Everything was wonderful.

Negatives: Nothing - it was all great.

Good for business traveler, very good staff. The room and facilities are nice and clean but do not rise to a 4 star level.

Negatives: Small room, relatively old furniture, bad temperature control in the room.

Overall very good room and overall service except for housekeeping, noted above. Housekeeping should have checked back to see if we had vacated our room, but neglected to do so. Further, prior to our arrival, left a used open bottle of water with a $4.50 price tag on it. Upon review of credit card statement after arrival home, we were charged $3.50 for something. When I called to inquire about the charge, the front desk said it was probably a room honor bar charge. When advised that we did not use the honor bar, the front desk said it was a mistake and we would be credited. Overall, their housekeeping staff should be audited. Except for these housekeeping muffs, our stay was great.

Negatives: Didn't clean room after we left at 10:30 am. Had to request same at 5 pm when we came back.

Everything in the room had a price tag on it and the tone set by the hotel was not one of hospitality and guest service, but rather of a very unmasked desire to make money off of the guest in every fathomable way.

Positives: Central location in Richmond.

Negatives: Unfriendly staff, price tag on everything in the room.

Very good location to downtown Richmond area. Within walking distance of convention center and other area. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, and friendly staff.

The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were accommodating as far as our request to upgrade the bedding accommodations.

The room I was given was a deluxe room with a king size bed. I wanted a room with a queen size so they moved us. The second room was right until I pulled down the comforter and there was a large stain on the flip side, we were then moved to a third room, that was finally correct. The people at the hotel were very sorry, but it was not the type of hotel that deserved 4 stars.

Positives: The food was great.

Negatives: I had to switch rooms three times.

The hotel is beautiful! The bed was extremely comfortable. Our room was very cool on a corner, so we had a lot of good city views.

This place was absolutely not up to my expectations of a four star hotel. There were charges for everything and the bed linen was terrible - stiff, cheap, and without even a fitted bottom sheet. The only part of this hotel that was a four star experience was the staff, who were uniformly friendly and helpful. Perhaps this place would be good for a business traveler in a rush, but a Holiday inn would serve any other traveler better without the valet fee and pretension.

Positives: Easy to get to.

Negatives: Budget bed linen, sheets, and charges for everything.

I recommend this hotel for it's proximity to old town and it's availability of on street parking.

The staff was overly friendly and responsive. Definitely sign up for the Omni perks program for the extra freebies. Parking and restaurant/lounge was expensive. Great location for touring.

Positives: Service was excellent.

Negatives: Bathroom needed serious work. Tub and shower needed replacing.
