The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were small. Hot tub was dirty and did not work. Pool only had ladders to get into, and they were unstable and hard to use. Fan in bathroom was very noisy, and they fixed it by undoing it.

We got a great room for a good price. Front desk was friendly. We didn't really spend a whole lot of time in the hotel though.

I have stayed here before and it is nice place. They offer great little sleep bags that include lavender-scented pillow spray, eye shades and earplugs.
Positives: Clean, decent, well-remodeled hotel with very friendly staff.
Negatives: No continental breakfast.

The staff was wonderful, very friendly and professional. Access to the highways, restaurants and shopping was close and overall it was a peaceful experience.
Positives: They allow early check-in and late check-out.

Clean, friendly, a pleasure to be there, very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone who visit in the Richmond.

The hotel exceeded our expectations, and our experience was diminished only by the unfortunate situation of not booking our car until the next day. We had no idea how far the hotel was from the airport, and it cost us a lot to get there and back to get our car the next day. Not the hotel's, but it shouldn't be listed as a "downtown" hotel (the designation I chose for the location)as it was far from the downtown area, which IS accessible by public transportation and has many dining choices.
Positives: Very clean, comfortable room, nice grounds, and nice people.
Negatives: Only one choice of restaurant within walking distance. Not good for travelers without a car.

We stayed for four nights and we had a wonderful time. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool every night that we were there. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We were there to see the historical sites and we had a great time.
Positives: Staff is always on top of their game.
Negatives: Need better maintenance of the exteriors.

Staff is terrific. They have gone over-and-above what is required and taken care of me like family. I have stayed here 8 nights in the last month, and heartily recommend it.

The check-in and check-out process was very easy which was made possible by the polite and efficient staff. The servers in the restaurant were also very attentive.

Warm greetings by the front desk as I walked in. The rooms were nice, the room smelled kind of bad and the hotel could probably use a little upgrading. The towels and bedding all seemed clean. It's a great place for a business traveler. I've stayed here 3 times now and I'll likely return.
Positives: White comforters = clean comforters!
Negatives: A little run down and the room smelled kind of funky.

It was a lovely experience. A smoking room with double beds was<BR/>requested and they quickly changed it to a non-smoking room with a king size bed.
Positives: The bed was super comfy and the view was amazing!
Negatives: The room was a little old, melted iron spot on the carpet.

The hotel is in a good location but the access is a little confusing had to go to the red light then make a U turn to enter the hotel parking lot. Check in was a breeze greeted with a smile staff was helpful, my room was huge king suite it put a smile on my face. Very comfortable bathroom was just the right size and room itself was roomy the bed oh so soft best sleep had in a while, room service excellent. This place was just what I needed, just to be pampered so if your in need of a great relaxation this is a good start of a great weekend getaway highly recommend to others many thanks Richmond for a wonderful week!
Positives: I enjoyed the classic treatment of the 4 star hotel greeted with smile staffs excellent services.
Negatives: The only one complaint I would have is the bar charge too much for a watered down mixed drink.

My experience with this hotel was exceptional, first class treatment. The staff was very friendly helpful anything you needed they had it for you right away. The room I stayed in was king executive very nice suite bathroom had room enough to enjoy a good hot bath and the bed was wonderful, dining area wonderful the menu did not have much of a choice the bar area was good the only complaint was the drinks I orders was tasteless more watered. My time at this hotel was excellent will go stay again when I travel up north again many thanks to the staff making my stay memorable.
Positives: I enjoyed the first class services. The room was wonderful with a king bed that was the softest bed ever enjoyed.
Negatives: Only disliked I have about this hotel is the high cost of a mixed drink and it was not even tasty, too watered down mixed drink.

The Crowne Plaza was the best U.S stateside hotel I have stayed in. I loved the quiet or sleep zone 5th floor. Best night sleep after sleeping in Maui in 2002. I plan on coming back again.
Positives: The Quite Zone 5th Floor was awesome. I loved the bed, the complimentary sleep and music CD. Fantastic!
Negatives: The poor quality food served in the overpriced $12.50 breakfast buffet. Eggs were wet. Bacon was undercooked. Hot cereal dried up. Food was cold.

We're from the West Coast, and I was taking my daughter to Richmond for college. I was thrilled that they also had a washer and dryer on the premises so we could wash my daughters sheets, etc. They also provide a room with a computer to check emails & print out tickets, another bonus.
Positives: The hotel staff was excellent and very helpful.
Negatives: The hallway was dark and dingy.

I did not like this hotel at all. Everything needs to be updated. The room was very small. The staff was pretty friendly. The bedspread had stains on it. The bathroom was a good size.
Positives: I liked the fact the front desk was very friendly when I arrived.
Negatives: The room was not completely cleaned on the 2nd day of our stay. Housekeeping did not do a good job at all.

This hotel was very accommodating. We were traveling with 3 teens and one child and had adjoining rooms. The rooms were fresh and the look was updated. All in all the hotel seemed very clean.
