It's "stayable", but I wouldn't stay there again. They need to decrease pricing and list themselves as a 3 star hotel. It drives me crazy that they even think they have somewhere close to a 4 star hotel. Oh and the beds are hard and room service food isn't good at all.
Positives: Nothing
Negatives: The rooms were horrible.

Beautiful and spacious, relaxing.
Positives: Spacious and clean, very friendly and accommodating.
Negatives: 20% plus $3 for room service. Didn't have a mini fridge or serve alcohol as option for room service.

Great for business, and nice for getaway. Good for golfers.
Positives: General environment, and bar.
Negatives: The beds are too soft. AC seems to have a governor, so it did not cool sufficiently for us.

Arrived at the hotel around 10 PM. Called ahead because we were running late. Clerk set us up with the room requests we had provided earlier. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a very nice view of the grounds. There was a light dusting of snow overnight so it gave us a "White Christmas". Postcard perfect!
Positives: Really nice curb appeal..
Negatives: Had to crawl under the desk to plug in coffee maker every morning.

Designed to look like a classic colonial complex, this facility is really all about its conference center, but the rooms are so large and comfortable, leisure travelers will find rest and relaxation. Nice, clean pool, but kind of small. If you golf, there is a course on the property. Location is a little out of the way, but perfect if you are doing one day in Richmond and one day at Kings Dominion.
Positives: Very clean and quiet. Large rooms comfy beds. Nice facilities.
Negatives: In a residential neighborhood, so far from best shopping restaurants. Three buildings instead of one.

Room was clean, everything worked well. Staff was friendly on check-in. Hotel in beautiful surroundings on golf course. Is a little difficult to find, but it is very private and quiet. Would probably be a great place for a short weekend get away.
Positives: Excellent presentation of grounds, rooms, & room was great.
Negatives: Restaurant was very expensive and it is a long way to other choices.

Fast check-in, comfy room and bed, had a problem with wireless Internet which they fixed immediately (rebooted a router I think). Impressive looking grounds. In short, no problems.
Positives: Friendly staff, nice grounds, very nice rooms.
Negatives: Nothing.

Driving into this establishment is fantastic. It is located on a golf course and it looks like a plantation. Spectacular landscaping and the staff was professional and friendly.

The hotel, structure, entrance, peacefulness or serenity of the surrounding reminds me of the colonial days in Virginia.

Very nice hotel, but not convenient to Richmond. It was 15 miles from downtown and at least 10 from anything else. The restaurant and bar were very nice though. The room was very comfortable!

We checked in late and had to leave early so we didn't really get to make use of the amenities. The lobby was beautiful and the rooms were nice. There was a bit of a wait to get on an elevator to the rooms because there were several groups checking in at once so we walked up. There was a large group of girls' soccer team members and the girls were running up and down the halls making a lot of noise, but that's the parents' fault, certainly not the hotels' fault.
Positives: Beautiful lobby and rooms. Liked having the underground tunnels between buildings.
Negatives: Breakfast
