The location makes it a seems like a perfect get away from the city. Friendly and courteous staff. The other guests in the hotel seems well mannered as well and did not have any noise issue. We had the room for 3 nights and it did not disappoint after a hard day of sight-seeing.

Positives: Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Negatives: Swimming pool are under 4ft deep and not enough space for actual swimming.

Nice hotel. Exactly what you would expect at a Marriott. The room was well appointed and very clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. There were sufficient power outlets for the many electrical items that travelers use these days. Many chains no longer charge for in room internet---get with the program Marriott, charging about $13.00 a day for in room internet is a rip off! The main outside parking lot fills up quickly necessitating many guests to park their vehicles in the well-lighted parking garage that is attached through a walkway to the main building. At least this location does not charge for parking as does the nearby Tyson Corner’s Marriott. This was a good hotel, I would return if I was in the area again.

This hotel is one of the best in the Tysons corner area that<BR/>I have been too. Friendly staff, nice clean rooms! Fast service what more could you want!

The female clerk at Registration was rude and failed to articulate the answer to a yes/no question. That did not provide us with a favorable first impression. Fortunately, the other clerk at the lobby was able to answer our question.

Nice Marriott hotel in a park-like setting and located close to a Metro station. The drive into DC/Arlington is pretty direct-but as expected traffic in the area is horrible. Coffee makers are single serve and room only had enough packets for 2 cups of regular coffee. Hotel dining room is very pricey, but offers gourmet menu items and brick oven pizza.

Positives: Comfortable(but on the small side)beds, non-smoking hotel.

Negatives: Room did not have refridgerator and operating TV was tricky.

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times before as this hotel can typically be had for a very nice price. The 3.5 star rating feels right for the rooms, staff, and hotel. It's a few minute drive from the Dunn Loring Metro, tho traffic on Gallows Rd can sometimes cause problems. Also, never underestimate the value of free parking in DC, which they have :)

When I first walked into the lobby I thought wow, but then when I entered my room, the first thing I saw was a big stain on the floor, one of two in the room. The room was a bit small for the price, no more room than an Econo-style hotel. I was stunned that they charged ($ 12.95) for internet. Everyone has free Wi-Fi these days. All the other hotels I used this trip had free Wi-Fi. The one redeeming feature was the bed, as Goldilocks would say, &quot;just right&quot;.

Positives: The bed is ultra plush, like sleeping on a cloud.

Negatives: Internet is $12.95 a day. Location is difficult to find in daylight, won't recommend coming in late to this place.

This is a wonderful hotel off the beaten path. The staff was very polite, helpful, and the decor was exquisite. The bed was a little firm for my personal taste, but the bedding was quite comfortable.

Was very pleased with the rate that I was able to book this hotel room. Good quality and excellent customer service. Enjoyed the cleanliness and relaxed setting. Superb surroundings just outside of Washington D.C. We even spotted deer among the beautiful wooded area of this hotel.

Positives: Shuttle service to metro. Clean and friendly.

Negatives: Smaller rooms but still very nice.

This is primarily a business travelers hotel. It is located in a quiet, semi-secluded, high-tech business park with lots of trees, a pond and small lake, and some walking trails. It provides a shuttle to the Metro (subway) for trips to Washington DC, Arlington VA, etc. Other than the hotel's restaurant and adjoining food court with two eateries, you'll need a car to get to restaurants and shopping a few miles away. It has an indoor/outdoor pool, free garage and lot parking, and a well-equipped fitness center. Other than weddings and parties in conference facilities, it's very quiet on most weekends. Larger-than-average 8th floor room had king bed, large flat-screen TV, and two very big windows with lovely views. Business center looked tiny and unattractive; would have felt crowded with two people, but never saw more than one using it.

Positives: Large room, lovely views from higher floors.

Negatives: No fridge or microwave in room, some housekeepers were stingy with towels and paper coffee cups.

Beds are not queen size. There is a full size mattress atop a twin size box and the whole thing is topped off with a queen size featherbed. My back still hurts!

Hotel had lovely grounds, entrance, lobby, dining facilities. Rooms were less impressive, low square footage, small sink which was located directly at the entry door, very inappropriate. Limited closet space. Asked for a king bed and pull-out sofa, and claimed at check-in they could not meet that request, on a prior phone call they said they could. Refrigerator is always a plus, these rooms did not come with that. Once the small parking lot outside the entrance was full, you were directed to a garage which was a ten minute walk from the hotel, unacceptable.

Positives: Beautiful lobby & lounge, quiet, clean, easily accessible from main roads, very nice flat screen TVs.

Negatives: Room size was small, bathroom too small, no refrigerator, double beds too small, limited parking, garage parking too far away.
