The breakfast buffet was very delicious. Hotel was very family friendly and also romantic.

There was upbeat techno music when we entered the lobby (both during the daytime and evening). Perfect for a girls' weekend getaway, but might not be desirable for a family with young children. I felt the overall quality was much higher than the price we paid. Also, loved that instead of two full-size beds, there were two QUEEN size beds -- better for sharing.

Positives: Modern rooms, cool atmosphere (for a girls' weekend getaway), upbeat feel.

Negatives: The bathroom door was a sliding door that did not stay shut very well.

It is a high priced hotel that expects you to let the money roll. They would not even let me use their luggage cart to get my luggage, microwave,laser printer, laptop, I-pad, etc to the room. I had to pay the bellman. They did not give me the wake up call I requested. I told the manager that a motel 6 was a better experience than they could provide to a business traveler.

Negatives: Could not get phone signal or wireless for my lap top and they provided no hard wire in the room.

In DC where one would expect the hotel to be environmentally friendly, towels are changed daily whether the guest wants clean towels or not. The same goes for the bedding.

Positives: Parking was convenient.

Negatives: I was unable to get hot water which was a top priority.

The room was very clean, and the staff was great in suggesting places to go. This hotel is a great value. The only problem I had was that you could not access the internet without being a AT & T subscriber or being a member of the hotels rewards program.

Hotel is very clean, family friendly. It has an indoor pool with a lifeguard on duty all the time.

The comfort of the bed was excellent, the whole hotel was very clean, the staff was extremely helpful and kind. This hotel had everything a person would need.

Overall this is a very nice and clean hotel. Safety of the quest should be their first priority. In our case, it wasn't.

Negatives: I didn't like the idea of them leaving us in harms way. We could've been evacuated before the police sprayed the teargas.

The hotel is ideally situated for the business traveler, but is also convenient for the leisure traveler as it is adjoining one of the finest shopping malls in the DC area. Access to the freeway system is almost effortless. Every hotel employee that I encountered was friendly and helpful and always offered a pleasant greeting. I won't stay anywhere else when I travel to the Washington DC area again.

This hotel is next door to the Fair Oaks mall. The hotel is clean and upscale. There were several restaurants inside and nearby, as well as a Starbucks inside the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This Marriott is new and beautiful. The grounds are very attractive and the staff are friendly and helpful. My room was well appointed - I slept very comfortably which is unusual for me when traveling.

Positives: Great value and location.

Negatives: Didn't like paying for internet service. Difficult to get back on the highway.

I had no problem with the hotel or the staff. Teenagers occupying some of the rooms on my floor were loud and disruptive. Couldn't sleep.

Positives: The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: There was a prom or something going on and it seemed like teenage kids were very loud in the hallways way past midnight. Difficult to sleep.

Not bad, but no more than 2.5 stars and overrated for the money. Paid extra for use of laptop, but billed as a travelers hotel and a business center. Dirty band aid on fire detector for 2 days required 2 complaints and security assist to get it removed. It was quiet and generally clean but rugs were a bit worn or dirty. Staff was pleasant and location was convenient.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly. I would stay here again and also would recommend it to others. My only complaint was that almost every time we went to the elevator, there was usually an unpleasant odor in that area.

Positives: The night manager was very friendly and helpful. We had an issue at the pool & she was prompt in helping resolve.

Negatives: Sometimes it was difficult to understand staff's accent.
