Pros- friendly, helpful staff. Convenient to metro *only . 8 miles safe walking route* Breakfast times were convenient. Shuttle service was great! Cons- older building. Breakfast menu was a bit boring, Pool hours could have been extended from 9am-9pm * more suitable*
Positives: Friendly, helpful staff. The shuttle service was a Hugh "plus".
Negatives: Breakfast menu would have been better with some variety to the menu.

Nothing is good about this hotel but the staff, room small, overpriced, leaky dirty bathroom, loud visitors, thin rooms, so-so location, etc.
Positives: Staff is friendly during check-in and check-out.
Negatives: Everything else.

This hotel was basically a place for us to sleep. The commute to DC was via shuttle the hotel offered, but only ran at certain times. We took a cab to and from the subway. At night the hotel offered to pick us up from the subway after shuttle hours and when we called the phone line was disconnected. We got back to the hotel late and left early.
Positives: The bed was clean. Bathroom too.
Negatives: Hotel room smelled, walls too thin, we could hear our neighbors.

This was the shabbiest, most run down hotel I ever stayed in period. You should totally and completely disassociate yourself from this establishment. It was like staying at a sleazy motel on the interstate that they rent by the hour.
Positives: The only thing I liked about this hotel was the location.
Negatives: Hotel was run down, holes in the doors, filthy carpet, filthy bathroom, bad mattress.

The hotel is very basic: no continental breakfast; no coffee makers in the room; 2 beds and an old TV. and the ac worked well enough to keep the room comfortable. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The staff members were nice. The hotel van to the Metro station was reliable and convenient. We only wished the van ran later than 8 pm.
Positives: Very clean rooms and we used the hotel van to get to the metro.
Negatives: I would have liked if the hotel van ran to the metro center later than 8 pm.

The hotel was not as described. It was not convenient to the Metro or any attraction for that matter. It was across from Fort Meyer but in order to enter we had to drive quite a bit. The room could have been cleaner the heat was on high when we arrived and the controls were behind a chair and an end table at floor level. The AC did not work, the screen fell out of the window when we opened to window to attempt to vent out some heat. It was not worth the price paid. We have stayed in much nicer hotels and paid slightly less or about the same. If we had know about these problems we would have stayed in a more expensive hotel.
Positives: Not too much, there were many other places nicer for the same price or less.
Negatives: it was not that clean, no refrigerator, not near anything. Had an unpleasant smell, etc.3

Positives: Close to National Airport.
Negatives: Staff was surly.
