When we arrived at the hotel at check-in time our room was not ready. We sat down and waited for about 20 minutes when a manager took note and checked on the status of the room. The room had some type of issue so we were asked if we would mind being upgraded to a suite, of course not. The room was nice, big and perfect for our family of 3.
Positives: Customer service was great!
Negatives: No pool, parking was expensive for the area the hotel was located in.

It was great. Good location. Was not happy having to pay $17/day to park.
Positives: It was right on top of the Metro, which we used and enjoyed.
Negatives: Dirty windows. Retaurant/bar in hotel lacked good customer service.

If you travel with small children, do not come to this hotel. In my experience, this is the worst hotel. We traveled with a one year old. When we checked in, the front desk guy arranged for a double bed for us. I immediately requested a king sized bed since we need to sleep in a way that could block our one year old from falling from the bed when she is sleeping. The request was denied right away with a simple explanation of "no room available". I'm not sure if he even looked for one for us with that immediate response. As we were approaching our room, we saw plenty of rooms being cleaned, one of it was of course a king sized bed. Since we came to the hotel very tired and needed to sleep, I didn't bother calling the front desk again. Later, I asked a cleaning lady how I could get hot water to make formula for my daughter. She said "call the front desk". That night, we came back from having a dinner, so we stopped by the front desk. I asked a new front desk lady about getting hot water. She simply said there's no way I could get it. I can try calling room service. She didn't even bother to try to arrange it with the room service department for me. Thank you very much for really bad services.
Positives: It is opposite to IHOP.
Negatives: It is not made for travelers with very young children.

The hotel experience overall was nice. Me and my spouse enjoyed our stay. I would stay there again in the future. The metro is right outside which was convenient. We did have a couple of problems with the bathroom. The door needed to be shaved down across the top as it was hard to close and hard to open. Our tub got clogged up and we had to wait on maintenance to come and fix the problem. Other than those 2 things. We had a nice and clean room.
Positives: The bed was nice and comfy.
Negatives: The bathroom door stuck at the top and tub got clogged.

The hotel is adequate and while there is nothing terribly wrong with the hotel there is nothing that is great either. The room was clean but old and small. The hotel charges a very high rate for parking and internet.
Positives: Excellent location to the Metro!
Negatives: Small room, few amenities.

When we discovered that our room was right in the middle of a wedding party block, we were moved immediately and graciously. Our room was very nice and the Hilton beds are the best! Ours was a very brief overnight stay, but it couldn't have been nicer.
Positives: Fantastic location, wonderful beds, extremely accommodating staff!
Negatives: One of the two elevators was out of service.

Negatives: No.

We rented 2 rooms and got adjoining rooms which worked out very well. Hotel was quite and clean and Convienient to have a restaurant in the hotel after driving all day from North Carolina. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. Great service.
Positives: Very conveniently located to the metro & freeway 66. Easy access to DC.
Negatives: Air conditioning system didn't work well.

We expected a normal room but instead got a handicapped room with pet accommodations. The bed comes with a quilt suitable for room temperature in the 50¿s. If I pull it up I sweat, if I take it off I freeze. Shower floor is glazed tile and slippery with soapy water. Also, the handicapped shower drains all over the bathroom floor. The radio in the room was too quiet, can't hear what people were saying on the other side of the room.
Positives: Location and proximity to Washington DC Metro.
Negatives: Unexpected room style, bed cover too warm.

This is an upscale, elegantly appointed hotel. Its location isn't the best, but once you enter your room, you will forget all about it. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. Getting a good night's rest requires no effort as the mattress and bedding are comfortable and luxurious. Bring extra money for parking at $17 per day, refrigerator at $15 per day and microwave at$10 per day. The hotel is located right across the street from IHOP and other dining and shopping venues. I loved my stay at this hotel and am looking forward to spending more time there when I travel to the area.
Positives: The entry is elegantly appointed. The room is spacious and continues the upscale decorative them with luxurious bedding.
Negatives: The location, parking, and the service desk employee laughed at us because we had trouble getting from garage to room.

The hotel was right there at the entrance to the Metro. Easy access to anything in DC. No many Restaurants outside of the hotel restaurant. Easy to and from the expressway. Very Comfortable Beds.
Positives: Very clean and comfortable.
Negatives: Did Not have a swimming pool to relax in.

Great access to the metro. Only needed the car once. Walked to nearby restaurants. Hotel was nice. Room service was bad and overpriced.
Positives: Proximity to metro.
Negatives: Room service.

This hotel was all that I wanted and more. The Metro was right down stairs. It was near a 24 hours IHOP. In case we got in late, the staff was quite helpful and friendly. Our cleaning lady kept the room above par and we never had to ask for anything. Everything we needed was always there.
Positives: It was clean, right at the metro, great staff and upscale.
Negatives: Some things in the room were not functioning properly.

1) Friendly and helpful staff after arrival. 2) I liked the hotel, but strongly dislike the high price charged for parking in the hotel garage.
Positives: Desk staff.
Negatives: Expensive parking garage.

Friendly.
Positives: Close to subway, good location.
Negatives: Would be better to have two beds in the room.

Hotel was nice, in a nice part of town. Close to nearby shopping, restaurants, etc. The only downside was the parking garage. You had to pay $17 per day to park in this dark, scary garage. They need to do something to get a cheaper parking rate because a lot of people will not return because they don't want to pay to park.
Positives: Location, cleanliness, facilities.
Negatives: Parking lot and the $17 per day charge to park is outrageous.

The staff at this hotel were very helpful. The air conditioner in the first room we were assigned did not work. When we informed the front desk, they moved us immediately. They bumped us up to the "Club" level for our troubles (of having to move rooms) and assisted us in several other ways. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, but the helpfulness of the staff, and the location to one of the safer Metro stops to go into DC (right outside the front door) suited us fine.
Positives: Staff was very helpful.
Negatives: Tough to find with the directions we had.

Very nice hotel and I did enjoy my stay just so far out. But a very nice place overall.
Positives: The housekeeper on the floor that I was on was very nice and friendly on the 4 floor.
Negatives: Everyone seen to be friendly. But one of the front desk guys was not all that friendly .

Very nice facility/rooms, clean, great location, quality hotel. Staff did not mention on check-in that there was separate charge for parking the car, we assumed the guests would have free parking.
Positives: Very nice hotel rooms/facilities and great location.
Negatives: House keeping refused to bring coffee cream to our room said staff was busy.
Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 04 Jun 2008 rated 7 out of 10.
Good location with close proximity too many restaurants and Metro line to Washington DC. Unfortunately, the cleaning service had many small obvious shortcomings, e.g. dirty coffee machines, door knots.
Positives: Excellent location.
Negatives: Several areas not clean.
