Nice convenient to highway, safe parking, not on metro though.

Positives: Swimming pool on top floor was beautiful.

Negatives: Parking was $20 a day.

Sheraton National in Arlington is an excellent hotel for DC bound tourists. Free shuttle to metro makes a car unnecessary. Great views of Pentagon, National Cemetery and DC monuments. Short Metro ride to all DC sites. Comfortable rooms, friendly staff, overall a great hotel.

Positives: Excellent location, free shuttle service to Metro.

Negatives: Only restaurant option was pricey. Pool was closed for private function.

Excellent hotel for the rate we got. We stayed at the Hyatt the next night in Arlington which was "supposed" to be a 4 star and this hotel was definitely better than Hyatt in all categories. Very spacious and friendly staff.

Positives: Clean and spacious.

Negatives: Location was slightly sketchy.

The main area is luxurious but the rooms are short of 3 1/2 stars rating. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

Positives: Help desk staff were friendly and helpful, good for meetings and seminar.

Negatives: Rooms are rather small for 3 1/2 stars. Room service was questionable - Did not replenish the rooms.

Great location to ft. Myers and Arlington Cemetery. The hotel had everything a business traveler needed.

Positives: Great sleeping accommodations.

Negatives: Price for parking.

Overall, a great experience. I was trying to keep my expenses low and chose not to purchase the in-room WiFi, choosing instead to do my work in the lobby. Room was great, staff was fantastic. I prefer three star hotels for my traveling because there seem to be less fees for everything, and while the upgrade to the Sheraton was nice, it was hard to keep the trip from getting pricey. But I'm just budget-conscious right now, and the hotel itself was beautiful. I'm sure they're the same as anyone else at this level of service. Overall, great stay.

Positives: Beautiful room, great views, and extremely comfortable bed.

Negatives: Fee based WiFi in the room (free in the lobby), fee for parking.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 15 Apr 2011 rated 8 out of 10.

All good but parking fee was high, wifi fee was high.

Positives: Clean, nice staff, and nice restaurant.

Negatives: Parking, wifi fee was charged.

The staff was great and the room was clean. We had a room with an excellent view. The one thing I caution others about is that the rooms have almost no sound proofing! If my Russian neighbors spoke English, I would have been able to tell you exactly what they were saying all evening. That's not an exaggeration. Having said that, our stay was fairly pleasant due to the great service and free shuttle that takes you to the Metro station. I'd book there again, but never at full price.

Positives: The staff was outstanding! The best service I've had in years. I'll be back.

Negatives: There is poor sound proofing in the room, you will be able to hear what your neighbor is saying.

Spectacular view from either side of this hotel. Nestled right before DC, this hotel has great access to the area. Clean rooms, and great amenities. Friendly staff, recommended

Positives: Wonderful views.

Negatives: A bit hidden from main roads, parking chafes are high.

I was so impressed by the customer service at the Sheraton Hotel. When I say customer service I'm talking about all the people in the hotel. We were very happy with the service. I would highly recommend this hotel and gladly stay in this hotel again!

Positives: The customer service from the front desk to restaurant was amazing!!

Negatives: Bus service could have been better!

The hotel was nice. The man at the front desk was so much help checking me in the room. the room was beautiful and so was the view of va. Loved my weekend there. On the weekend before valentines day I'm going back, but to get a suite.

Positives: The big room with the big bed and quietness.

Negatives: Nothing

This hotel was wonderful! We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in- the hotel is large and clean and the restaurant and bar is very nice. You have to pay for Internet but you can use the business center on the main floor for free. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. Even the coffee and tea that were provided in the room were delicious and fresh! The location is close enough to all the monuments and downtown DC plus really nice for the price, that it is worth it to be outside of the main city.

Positives: The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable.

Negatives: You have to pay for parking and there is no street parking nearby.

This is a great 3-1/2 star hotel, and the staff was courteous!

Positives: It was a quality hotel for the price.

Negatives: The bathroom could have been cleaner around the toilet.

Nice atmosphere, appropriate decor for a DC area hotel, nice restaurant, friendly staff. Appropriate for business travellers and families both.

Positives: Location and airport shuttle.

Negatives: Pay more to park as a guest than if just airport parking.

The Sheraton Hotel was a great deal for the price. They offer free shuttle service to the metro station, and the metro is a short ride to the National Mall. The staff is great and beyond helpful.

Positives: The top floor pool offered a great view of the Capital.

Negatives: The AC had a difficult time keeping the room cool for a while.

This was a great hotel in terms of cleanliness and polite staff! Room layout and features were great. The coffee maker, however, had not been used and was dusty on the inside of the maker. Otherwise all fine. The area worked because of the convenient and nice shuttle service to nearby destinations - Metro and Pentagon City.

Positives: Staff was response to traveler and shuttle service was excellent.

Negatives: Construction going on and costly parking fee.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 08 Mar 2010 rated 7 out of 10.

Nice hotel but first room was next to a rooftop with a loud ventilation cap, had to move rooms too loud. The no roll away beds was first I have encountered, we are family of five so one had to sleep on floor, would have booked elsewhere if I knew that rule. Very friendly concierge helped us a lot.

Positives: Good access to DC, friendly concierge.

Negatives: No roll away beds, said it was fire hazard.

Reviewer: Not provided on Fri 05 Mar 2010 rated 8 out of 10.

The hotel is not in a good location - well beyond walking distance from everywhere. The rooms and public spaces are very good and the staff competent and friendly.

<BR/>

Positives: Very nice rooms and public areas.

Negatives: Location is poor, but a taxi will take you to the metro and from there you can get anywhere.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 03 Mar 2010 rated 1 out of 10.

Good location, lousy hotel: it feels like a motel from the seventies that has been renovated by changing the wallpaper. Same flimsy doors and walls, you can hear your neighbor sneeze, watch TV, talk, communicating doors are like having other people in your room, air conditioner sounds like a truck. This hotel would be a good Motel 6, but as a Sheraton at their $, it is ridiculous.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Everything else.

Positives: Location.

Negatives: Room did not have refrigerator.

The hotel was very nice. I would have liked to pinpoint the area I needed to stay in better. I took the train to Washington, DC. Drove to WV drove back stayed over and took the train back in the morning. It would have been better if your people could have found me the Sheraton which was on the way back.

Positives: The breakfast which I paid for was delicious.

Negatives: They charged for self parking.

Reviewer: Not provided on Wed 20 Jan 2010 rated 9 out of 10.

Hotel and staff was first-rate. The only complaint I had (a very small one) was that the room was especially equipped for a handicapped person (not me). The shower was large and had a slight lip around the outer edge, which made it very easy for water to spill over into the floor. The shower head was a sprayer, and did not easily adjust for a person standing up. I've stayed in other hotels before via Priceline, and was placed in handicap-accessible rooms as well, seemingly because those rooms aren't used as much and are easily discounted.

Positives: Well-maintained.

Negatives: Room was for

Nice.

Positives: 16th floor facilities, mattress.

Negatives: Bellman (absence), $20 parking.

Very nice rooms in a safe neighborhood; convenient shuttles to metro station/airport. Internet access is free only in the lobby.

Positives: Clean rooms; convenient shuttles to metro/airport.

Negatives: $20/night parking fee; breakfast wasn't included.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 04 Jan 2010 rated 7 out of 10.

Is a nicely maintained and clean hotel but is not located near public transportation or a local community with restaurants and entertainment. $20 per day for parking is a little high. Each room has a nice flat screen TV but no programming in HD, thus each station looks worse than a traditional TV set.

Positives: Clean and well maintained.

Negatives: Not close to public transportation.

Reviewer: Not provided on Mon 04 Jan 2010 rated 6 out of 10.

Hotel is OK. But you have to pay parking $20 per day, and there is no free WiFi access to the room. You have to come down to the lobby. Don't expect to see anything.

Positives: Location and indoor swimming pool.

Negatives: There was no free Wi-Fi given to the room, charged parking, bad room given to Priceline customers.
