The hotel is lovely and the staff at the Westin were incredibly helpful and friendly. The beds were incredibly comfortable and linens were to die for. I've added a Westin Bathrobe to my Christmas list. I would love to stay in a similar hotel again.

Positives: I absolutely loved the shower and the bathrobe. The linens were luxurious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: It wasn't very conveniently located for weekend travel. Most of the nearby restaurants were closed.

The hotel was very nice, and well placed for access to the Metro. The shuttle they provided to the Metro and to restaurants was great. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I will stay at the hotel again.

Positives: Excellent all around.

Negatives: Little hard to find.

This hotel had the most uncomfortable beds ever. I woke up 3 times each night with back pain from the horrible mattresses.

Positives: The clock in the lobby was nice.

Negatives: Most uncomfortable beds ever.

Excellent location as a base for a D.C. vacation. The Metro was a short walk from the lobby, and the shuttle took us to the waterfront quickly. We will likely stay there again the next time we go to Washington D.C.

Positives: The convenience to the metro and restaurants.

Negatives: No free in room WiFi.

The hotel was very nice. It was convenient to transportation and in a safe area. The room was very large. My only complaints was that the pool only open from 4p-10p and Wi-Fi was $9.95 a day. We parked on the street so we didn't have to pay to park. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Positives: The hotel convenient to the metro.

Negatives: The pool hours were 4p-10p.

The staff was incredibly rude. They gave us the top floor so I vomited daily and gave us one bed so our daughter had to sleep on the floor, it was a horrible experience and they ruined our family's Spring vacation.

Positives: Great location.

Negatives: They gave away our room in spite of our request for a low floor (because of vertigo issues) many other issues.

The hotel staff was outstanding, my wife and I where greeted immediately upon our arrival. I called earlier during the day to inquire about an early check-in and it was graciously granted.

Positives: It was close to local movie theatres and restaurants.

Negatives: I think the parking should be free if you are staying in the hotel.

Hotel was clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel restaurant is overpriced.

Close to Old Alexandria, but you would probably want to take a car to eat or shop or catch the metro into Washington. Lovely, clean hotel with extra large rooms and they made an effort to put us in a room where we could see the fireworks from Washington. The staff was very attentive.

Positives: The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Negatives: The pool was small, only 4 1/2 feet deep, indoors. Not a real relaxing setting plus a lifeguard from the Ukraine kept everyone kind of on their toes.

This hotel would be great for people without children in general. Pool was closed at 10 pm and was smallish. They showed no flexibility with this, as they said the lifeguard goes home, what? We had to beg to get the van to come get us from Metro subway at station 1 mile away, because it was raining very hard. Hotel workers were nice, but we had two rooms, and only one was cleaned over a two night 3 day stay. We asked for a late checkout on Sunday afternoon, and they delayed our answer, first that Saturday evening, then the next morning we called again, and they did not answer our request. This hotel is new and nice, but not for families. GREAT biz hotel though.

Positives: I liked the safe neighborhood &amp; new facilities.

Negatives: I did not like the short hours of pool, and of the van, and of the gift shop. Everything was off at 10 pm.

This hotel was one of the most lovely. It was clear that the they paid attention to detail and welcome women, since some of the wooden hangers had grooves for spaghetti strap outfits and the soaps and shampoos were of very high quality. Beautifully decorated and comfortable.

Positives: Very elegant and clean.

Negatives: There was a space between the door and jam.

Pool was only open from 4:00pm to 10:00pm. Charged for internet. Charged $24/day for parking. Not happy with those 3 items.

Positives: Flat screen TV.

Negatives: Pool only open 4-10, had to pay for internet and valet parking.

As stated, the staff was totally not helpful. We needed aspirin. The shop in lobby was closed but the medicine was reachable.

Positives: Could have been a nice experience based on the accommodations.

Negatives: Staff was not helpful (needed aspirin for sick child and wouldn't take from shop that was within reach and there was am all night party in next room.

I have no idea why Westin cannot get it's billing straight. Expect random charges to appear out of the woodwork (maybe they're helping themselves to a stimulus at your expense). Also expect to spend hours arguing with them about it.

Positives: Shower heads are very nice.

Negatives: This Westin will charge you for things you don't purchase, and overcharge you for thing you did.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Weston. The rooms exceeded my expectations and the amenities were outstanding. Add extremely helpful and accommodating staff and you have a fantastic experience. Great hotel.

Positives: Great staff, and the rooms were very well decorated and clean.

Negatives: Could be closer to the heart of Alexandria.

Great stay<BR/>trolly ride away from Old Alexandria. Clean, comfortable and very modern hotel.
Parking in the garage is expensive and your car is not accessible which is tough if you need something.

Positives: Great beds and bedding, great shower too.

Negatives: Parking, can not access your own car in the garage.

Personnel very pleasant, even fun to talk to. We were well served with answers to all our questions, advised on various eating establishments, and given a sense of points of interest.

Positives: Very close to trolley stop that services Old Town Alexandria.

Negatives: Construction outside, parking only via valet, signage pittiful.
