We enjoyed the location, got good recommendations of area restaurants and overall very good service from the staff, and the room was the cleanest of any that I recall staying in. The cleanliness is no doubt at least partly housekeeper specific, but it was striking enough to merit mention from a self-professed germaphobe.

Positives: We enjoyed the location and the fact that the room was probably the cleanest I've stayed in, including substantially more expensive hotels.

Negatives: The shuttle service was a bit hit-or-miss on the first day. It was much better the next day.

Great hotel over all. Clean, near old town Alexandria shopping/dining, and shuttle to Reagan International. Really liked the separate living and sitting areas in the room. But, when I complained about the smoker in the room next door, no one did anything about it. They said it wasn't the hotels problem, but a problem with the person, therefore they were not responsible! It was supposed to be a non-smoking hotel! Very disappointed with their attitude about the smoking.

Positives: The room was very nice. Liked the separate living area from the sleeping area. Clean. Comfortable bed.

Negatives: Was told it was a non smoking hotel. My room smelled like smoke, and hotel desk did nothing about it!

This hotel was beautiful and we all loved the way they were set up with the couch and chair and TV and the bedroom closed off by French doors. The kids just loved the pool and jacuzzi. I would stay here at this hotel again with children.

Positives: The room setup.

Negatives: Front desk clerk was not knowledgeable about the area and the parking fee of $22 was absurd.

The restaurant was closed while I was there. But it's an attractive place to stay.

Positives: The suite was attractive and had everything I needed.

Negatives: The printer in the business center was not working properly.

You can not beat this place for a weekend stay.

Positives: Great bed.

Negatives: We had a bad experience with a follow-up exchange.

Overall, pleased with the appearance of the hotel. Parking was as issue, however, and there was an additional fee to use the garage. The person who checked me in to the hotel seemed unprofessional, incompetent and / or distracted. This treatment made me regret having to stay there.

Positives: The hotel was very clean and classy and the room was well decorated and very comfortable.

Negatives: The employee who checked me into the hotel was condescending and rude.

Hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay. WiFi was not free. $10 charge for this service that most hotels do for free. $22 for hotel parking!

Positives: Clean room,lobby was nice.

Negatives: Restaurant limited, shuttle driver was rude.

Hotel smells bad. Rooms are small for suites. Bathroom poorly lit, no ventilation. Charge for things such as bottled water in room and decaf coffee for coffee maker. Parking garage was like an oven and so was elevator to the garage. No conveniences close by. Lower priced hotels are just as nice or nicer. If I had paid full price I would have been extremely unhappy. Would not recommend ... and I am not one to complain.

Positives: Easy check out.

Negatives: Smells. Charge for everything even water. Poorly lit rooms. Small spaces.

Priceline star ratings are way off. This hotel is a 2 star masquerading as a 3.5 star. The Sheraton is in a good location, if you like Old Town, but the hotel itself is worn out and shabby. Had dinner in the restaurant, we were the only customers in there. Still took over an hour, and all we had were sandwiches and pizza. Front desk staff was friendly.

Positives: Good location.

Negatives: Hotel/rooms were shabby and worn out.

Negatives: Buffet to pricey.

The Sheraton provided us with quality accommodations in a great part of Alexandria. It is located 7 blocks from the Old Town section of town. The staff was helpful and professional.

Positives: Free internet in the lobby area.

Negatives: Room was small.

This was a fantastic, comfortable, clean hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and did not treat us like bargain shoppers even though we got a great deal through Priceline! The layout of the suite was perfect for traveling with children because one area was set up for our child and my husband and I could comfortably watch<BR/>TV in our own bedroom.

Positives: Loved the set up of having a suite. Hotel was very comfortable and clean and a great bargain through Priceline!

Negatives: It was a little far from the main area of town which we would have liked to be in.

The appearance is very nice. The staff is a little hard to understand (English is our main language). The parking was crazy. We spent an additional $88.00 for our weekend trip just on parking.

Positives: The decor and cleanliness.

Negatives: $22.00 a day for parking was excessive considering everyone parked and used metro or hotel shuttle.

Lovely lobby, clean rooms, excellent bedding.

Positives: Convenient location, clean. Comfy bedding.

Negatives: WiFi charge in room of $10 per day.

The rooms are pleasant, though cramped. Well - lighted with large windows, but poor vistas as the surrounding area is other hotels and businesses.

Positives: 24-hour fitness room, Flat screen HDTV, microwave.

Negatives: Pay nightly for Internet that was mediocre quality, small refrigerator only.
