We are located 10 miles from the Killington and Pico ski resorts in Vermont, which have some of the finest skiing in the entire Northeast.

There is a comfortable parlor where you can enjoy a cup of tea, some homemade cookies and a warm cozy fire in our tiled fireplace. If you prefer, enjoy a book from our library, stocked with hundreds of titles, or enjoy a jigsaw puzzle at our marble game table.

Our dining room, filled with exquisite antiques and covered with leather wainscoting, has a beautiful plaster relief ceiling. Your hosts, Leslie and Steven Brenner, will graciously prepare and serve you a three course gourmet breakfast each morning. You can sample fresh fruits, hot cereals, homemade breads and fantastic main courses, including such gastronomic delights as creme brulee French toast, gingerbread blueberry pancakes, banana pecan waffles and broccoli and cheese quiche. All of our breakfasts are accompanied by a fine selection of teas and the best coffee in Vermont.

Located on North Main Street in Rutland, the Inn is a perfect place to stay while touring the attractions of Vermont. We are minutes from boating, swimming, hiking and fishing. You are close to Killington, Okemo and Pico for skiing. If you are looking for great bargains, Manchester and its outlet shopping is only 30 minutes away.

Additional details

Once inside the Inn, you will feel as though you were back in the 1800s. The grand oak staircase, carved plaster relief ceilings and wainscoting, huge leaded glass windows and fine period antiques all take you back in time to an era of romantic splendor. The Inn at Rutland has 8 guest rooms, all unique. Each room has a private bath ensuite, color cable television, air conditioning, wifi and direct dial telephone. Designer sheets grace your bed and plush towels will wrap you in luxury. Daily room rates in the off season begin at $119 double occupancy. In season rates range from $169 to $229 per night double occupancy. Two of our guest rooms have air jetted tubs and one has an in room gas fireplace.
