Got a great price for this hotel. Food was great, and a good selection for a continental breakfast. Took us only 25 minutes to get to Killington from here. Next to a lot of restaurants. Overall, I was pretty happy with the place.
Positives: Great price and good location. Very clean rooms, and friendly staff.
Negatives: Can't think of anything...

It was clean, comfortable, great location, & just about as nice as one could possibly expect for a 2 star level.
Positives: Great location, & EXCELLENT rate for fall foliage weekend!
Negatives: The step exiting the C building, had a not easily recognizable step that I fell from onto the sidewalk.

The Red Roof Inn fell short of our expectations. The staff could rarely be found, the pool had limited hours, our room had a strange musty odor, and the breakfast did not live up to the promises on the website.
Positives: The hotel was easy to find.
Negatives: The services of the hotel did not meet my expectations.

This hotel needs to be closed for renovation. The tile, door and fixtures in the bathroom was broken. The toilet did not flush efficiently. The wall paper was town. The hotel furniture was tacky and from the 1970's The pool was ice cold and dirty. The sauna had a wire in water next to it. The general pool area was dirty and in need of repair. There was mildew and rust everywhere.
Positives: The staff was nice.
Negatives: The hotel is in need of remodeling. OSHA would close it down immediately. Repairs are desperately needed.

Easy access from highway; quick check in; computer in lobby with free internet access. Breakfast with make, your-own waffles, indoor pool, but did not have enough guest towels.
Positives: Free internet access.
Negatives: Not enough towels were provided in the pool.

I had never stayed at a Red Roof Inn before and had a less favorable impression of them than other chains, so I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel, though a standard motel geared to mainly budget conscious travelers, was really quite nice. Our room, though not luxurious, was large and spacious and had wooden beams on the ceiling. The small lobby was cozy with a fireplace and a couple of sofas. They had a complimentary continental breakfast featuring make your own fresh waffles, really delicious! The indoor heated pool and sauna were a nice touch. A hot tub would have been even nicer. All in all, a good value.
Positives: Pool and sauna.
Negatives: Bathroom was small.

This is a cheap hotel, in the middle of Rutland. The service is friendly, the breakfast is unexciting. There is a pool which was clean.
Positives: Cheap.
Negatives: Not the highest cleanliness standards.
