Additional details

The Inn dates from the 1780's and it remains a cornerstone of the small town of Jamaica, Vermont (see more on the Inn's history). It is conveniently located on Vermont's scenic Routes 30 and 100, between the towns of Brattleboro, known as the gateway to Vermont, and historic Manchester Village, a picturesque village as well as an outlet shoppers Mecca. The Inn's two buildings and two cottages are set peacefully among the Green Mountains of Vermont, looking over the woodlands and trails of Jamaica State Park and five miles from famed Stratton Mountain Ski area. The Inn has a sense of luxury and history, with wide-planked walls known as "King's Wood" and three original fireplaces on the main floor.

The Three Mountain Inn is located in the small town of Jamaica at the base of Stratton Mountain. Jamaica is located 26 miles north of Brattleboro and 20 miles southeast of Manchester on scenic Vermont Routes 30 and 100. Jamaica is easily accessible to both Boston and New York being three and four hours respectively from each.

Despite its close proximity to the Stratton Mountain resort, Jamaica remains rural in charm and character. It is a town that attests to the true romance of Vermont, surrounded by woods, pastures and mountains, with nearby streams, and full of friendly people. There are a number of antique shops, galleries, arts and crafts stores, country stores and eateries tucked into the historic houses in the village. Although well-traveled tourist Rts. 30 and 100 coincide with Main Street in Jamaica, traffic meanders respectfully and quite unnoticeably through the village at 25 mph.
