The hotel was fairly old and looked it. The hallway walls and carpets were dingy and the air conditioner in our room was very loud and ineffective. The hotel staff was not very friendly or accommodating either.

Positives: It was close to our destination.

Negatives: The amenities were not well cared for, the pool left a lot to be desired and Sam, the general manager was less than helpful..

Only one queen bed in the rooms. Very small room. They will authorize $100 on your credit card for incidentals which is ridiculous because there is nothing you can charge to your room! Parking is free there is no mini bar there is no pay per view so what is the $100 for.

Positives: It was cheap.

Conveniently located near interstate highway, all areas clean, friendly helpful staff. Well made breakfast.

The hotel is very tastefully decorated. Our room was slightly larger, probably something nice the clerk did since we were being charged an extra $10 per room per night to get two beds instead of just one bed in the room. The beds were very comfortable, although the pillows were a little large and stiff. My six-year-old daughter, who loves to do cartwheels everywhere we go, was stung by a mostly dead wasp on the hallway floor. We found another dead wasp in one of the rooms. Our room needed a second lamp, as it was dark near the table. Since we had two rooms, we borrowed one from the other room, but without that, it would have been too dark. Old 25" TVs that work just fine, but HD would have been nice. Very nice breakfast, and very nice staff. The view is spectacular.

Positives: Rooms were very nicely designed and quite roomy.

Negatives: I had to pay $10 per room per night to get two beds in each room instead of just one bed.

Compared to other 2.5 motels on this trip, we were very disappointed with the lack of comforts in the two rooms. Beds were very old, uncomfortable and made up hastily. In our room, there was not even a chair to sit in and relax - had to be in the bed to watch television and read. We called early in the morning and again at check-in to see about the ability to get a king, connecting or nearby rooms, but were told that they did not have anything else to give us, we were even put on separate floors.

Positives: The location, cleanliness, breakfast room.

Negatives: Traveling with another couple - no cooperation with king, connecting, adjoining, even same floor. Beds were uncomfortably old.

The shower in the first room we were given did not work the fixture was falling out of the wall. The 2nd room we were given was filthy. Dirty furniture upholstery, tears in sheets and bathroom toilet and floor were dirty. Too tired to search for another hotel that late at night. If the hotel is that concerned with possible damage to charge a security deposit they should make sure their furniture, appliances, fixtures and bedding are in good condition. Clerks seems to be trained in blank stares and quoting policies.

Positives: Very close to freeway exit and restaurants. Nice breakfast bar.

Negatives: Description say resent remodel but room are grungy and fixtures are old.

Nice staff, good breakfast, and fairly clean but is a very noisy hotel. We were on the first floor and could hear the people above us walking around. We could also hear the doors shutting out in the hall. You could not turn the fan to the heater on to cover up the noise. Two of the three nights we did not get much sleep.

Positives: Friendly.

Negatives: Noisy! Ceiling creaked all night one night and could hear doors shutting in hall. No fan. Noisy! Didn't sleep well.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a hot shower or warm bath. If you desire sleep, better to sleep in your car as the beds are springy and old. The pillows are hard and lumpy. The hair dryer did not work as so the coffee maker did not also. The light in the hall flickered all night. Although the staff was nice it did nothing for a good stay or a good night sleep.

Negatives: Tub did not work no hot water old bed lumpy pillows very uncomfortable.

The bed was really uncomfortable, the walls were thin, and the lighting wasn't great (too fluorescent). Our room was near the breakfast area and smelled like stale breakfast at night. The breakfast was hot and had a good variety but I didn't want to smell like breakfast all day.

Positives: Convenient location.

Negatives: The walls were thin and we could hear everything.

We were very pleased with the hotel. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast room was well-maintained and well-stocked with a nice assortment of food items. Rooms were clean and very well-maintained, although small. The refrigerator and microwave in the room were absolutely wonderful, since we stayed six days and wanted to keep some snacks on hand.

Positives: Very clean, well-maintained, friendly staff, very nice breakfast room and food.

Negatives: No exercise room, beds were not great.

The hotel was very clean and attractive even though the hotel was under remodel. The hotel staff were very accommodating to my needs.

Our selection motivation was due to trip length from Southern California. Staff was very courteous, had fresh cookies in lobby, paper at door in morning, prompt wake up call and great free full breakfast. I will definitely stay here again if making trip north!

The hotel was in good condition. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was tasteful and well presented. The staff was courteous and helpful. The two drawbacks were that the beds were very hard and the mosquitoes are thick since the hotel is adjacent to Lake Utah.

We really enjoyed our stay. The kids enjoyed the pool and there was shade for me to sit and watch them.

It is not a place we will ever sleep again. Twp reasons--we itched all night and the hotel is pet friendly. Why people insist on taking their dogs into hotels and why hotels allow them to do this in rooms other people will sleep in is beyond me. It is disgusting. I do not want to sleep in a dog house.

Positives: The location was near where we needed to go.

Negatives: We did not like the beds. We itched all night.
