I ask for some spoons and after 45 min someone bring it because my husband call again no wrap in napkins just the spoons in his hands and when he checks the spoons one of them were dirty so he took it back and 20 min later he came with the spoon. The air-conditioning stop working in the middle of the night and at the end when I was going to take a bath after the family, surprise again no hot water.
Positives: Nothing

Overall, a great place to stay in SLC. Across the street from one of the best German Delis in the west. If you are traveling with a car it is only valet parking and it is $17/night.
Positives: Easy Check-in. Great rooms. Free WiFi.
Negatives: $17 valet charge.

Staff is very friendly and the rooms are really cute. Surprisingly quiet and cozy feeling for a hotel situated in the midst of downtown.
Positives: The decor & the complimentary wine social with neck massage in the lobby.
Negatives: Needs a coffee maker in the room.

Hotel is clean, well managed, comfortable, but they charge for things that lesser priced (but clean and comfortable) hotels include in their pricing, like free Airport shuttle service, free parking and Internet access. This is the most upscale hotel I have ever stayed in. Nice experience, but I couldn't afford to stay there at full rates.<BR/>Loved Priceline.
Positives: The Manger served us at the wine reception which was impressive. She was very hospitable. Also upgraded us to a corner room - nice.
Negatives: No free Internet in the lobby - $4.95 for 15 minutes.

As someone who used to travel 70,000 miles a year and was never satisfied this Kimpton Hotel was incredible. Whitney at the front desk was a tremendous help in securing me an actual quiet room as i have trouble sleeping. The hot cocoa in the afternoon was great and the fact that i saw doggies there was a nice touch.
Positives: Location,incredible staff, huge room.
Negatives: Nothing

My over all stay was excellent. I would definitely stay again. I did have one day that the cleaning of my room was so so. It was like they rushed it and cut corners.
Positives: Location
Negatives: The toilet paper was very low quality and very harsh on the hind end.

We were put on floor 7 which was for travelers with pets which I am allergic to. Room was very small with only a drain in the floor for a shower. Asked to be moved to another room with tub and room had dog dishes and bedding still on the floor!
Positives: The only thing I liked about this hotel is that I got to check out and leave!
Negatives: Unpleasant experience from the valet parking to checkout.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel Monaco. We had a romantic room with a great view on the 12th floor. The room was beautiful and very un-hoteley (I know that's not a word!). We will stay there again!
Positives: Loved the wine hour!
Negatives: Parking sucks.

No airport shuttle! Thats not an a 3+ upscale hotel! Had to pay an additional 30.00 for a cab to the airport that was less than 10 minutes away.
Positives: The rooms were well decorated.
Negatives: No airport shuttle!

Under construction, poorly maintained, elevators not working, lamp not replaced, old decor. terrible.
Positives: Noting but location.
Negatives: The hotel should not be rated 4 star. Shabby chic at best. Elevator broken, no light on bedside.

This Hotel is Horrible! The room was so small about all that fit was the bed and not working TV, we had to walk sideways everywhere. When we asked the desk about the TV they said it would take too much paperwork to do so we were just out of luck. There is no pool and no hot tub. We felt so claustrophobic in that little room with no TV. I am so glad I did not have my kids! The room also comes with robes which are so hard you can't even try to put them on.
Positives: The bar.
Negatives: Pretty much everything.

You should have a disclaimer about the construction of skyscraper next door. No wonder they had rooms available.
Positives: It was very well decorated and clean.
Negatives: Construction next door. No parking close by.

This hotel was lovely, well situated, and full of friendly staff. Boutique is code for small, however. And the rooms were tiny. I expect that in NYC, but in Salt Lake? There's enough room to go around! For four stars they should be larger. I did like the little touches, though, like fancy soaps, bows on various items, beautiful non-hotel curtains etc.
Positives: I liked the little touches - towels tied with bows etc. and friendly staff.
Negatives: It is right on top of a construction site!

Wonderful little boutique in a great location to all restaurants and activities in the downtown.
Positives: Loved the boutique.
Negatives: You had no choice but to valet.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff & service was absolutely perfect! The wake-up calls were a live person with a smile in their voice. Nice way to start the day.
Positives: The staff and the level of service was great!
Negatives: The door for the TV cabinet was a little inconvenient to the bathroom.

Very nice hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Everything was well maintained in our room nothing had to be called to have repaired.
Positives: It was very clean & well staffed hotel.
Negatives: We were put in a room that was smaller than all other rooms we say and construction next door.

Good location, Clean, staff was friendly and helpful, valet parking available because there was not any parking near the hotel (cost $15) great food, but very expensive. All extras were very expensive and everything was extra.
Positives: It had a great location for Downtown SLC and the sites there.
Negatives: For a 4 star hotel, the bathroom was not very lavish.

I loved the atmosphere and the help was fantastic! I would stay there again, definitely. Also they seemed to enjoy helping my friend and I out with everything, from valet to taking our bags.
Positives: I loved the decorations and the smell was great!
Negatives: The only thing that I didn't like was the room that we got was rather small, cute, but small.
