Best Western High Country is conveniently accessible to main roads and Interstate. Even so, we found it quiet and also clean. The only drawback was that the beds in our unit most definitely need replacing.
Positives: Friendly and efficient staff with a nice reception area including internet.
Negatives: Beds very uncomfortable.

I really enjoyed my hotel room, and the other features the hotel offered. I look forward to staying here again.

Negatives: Nothing.

The rooms were basic, but very comfortable. Jeremiah's, the associated restaurant, was exceptional. The location is a little far out for Downtown Ogden, but is still reasonably convenient.
Positives: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: None.

Not impressed with the small rooms. The fold out bed was comfortable for my kids but an adult would not sleep well on it. The trains going by all night and honking were very distracting.
Positives: The park behind the hotel was very pretty.
Negatives: The trains going by all night and the rooms were small.

It had a restaurant in the same parking lot that had great food. The rooms were clean and plenty of room to move around so you didn't feel cramped.
Positives: It had a couch to sit on in the room.
Negatives: The pool was closed.

Proximity to freeway and major street convenient, but not enough sound insulation made it noisy. Window heat/ac units seemed underpowered. Lobby offers free coffee & hot chocolate but not tea. Plumbing problems included hot/cold reversed in shower, not enough hot water, sink plug not properly installed. Restaurant was very nice, good food, good service, unusual gifts in shop. Not enough parking for hotel guests when restaurant is busy.
Positives: Free access to a PC with Internet in lobby
Negatives: Ran out of hot water; no tea available in lobby.

This hotel was drab and the staff seemed tired. I waited for 10 minutes to be seated for breakfast in the restaurant. When I called the front desk, the button that said "front desk", led to a sleeping woman in room 110. All in all, I was very happy to pack up and leave.
Positives: It was convenient to the highway.
Negatives: It was shabby, the bed was really bad, overall gloomy.

Low quality bed, bathroom, and air conditioning make its star rating seem rather high and the price rather high.
Positives: The location was suitable for my travel.
Negatives: Inadequate bed, bathroom, air conditioning. We left it after one night on our return trip--forfeiting our paid second night.

Big operation. Seems to be efficiently run. Nice garden and fountain outback.
Positives: Convenient to the freeway and a few miles to downtown.
Negatives: Nothing.

Excellent service and appearance. I was not expecting anything fancy, but was pleasantly surprised with what we received.
Positives: I liked the classiness of the hotel. Very professional.
Negatives: Hot tub/spa was small and cramped.

They have done a great job of updating. They need to check the air conditioners. We love the restaurant "Jeremiah's" that is on the premises.
Positives: They have updated the rooms and they are very nice/updated lobby is beautiful/ great restaurant on premises
Negatives: Our air conditioner made such a noise that I slept very little/ train track close by

The hotel has gorgeous mountain views and we really appreciated being in such a convenient location. The hotel and next door restaurant, Jeremiah's (voted best breakfast in Northern Utah), recently underwent renovations which turned out beautiful. The hotel staff were very helpful and the only problem we ran into was our shower had trouble staying a consistent temperature. The hotel staff said they are working at remedying this problem that started in some of the rooms since the renovations. The hotel was great besides the shower temp and we would definitely recommend it and stay there again if we can.
Positives: Loved how big the rooms are with 2 queen sized beds and fridge and microwave standard in each room.
Negatives: Our shower had trouble staying a consistent temperature, it would fluctuate from freezing cold to burning hot without moving knob.

Has spa with insice jacuzi, 2 resturants on property, outside pool. Next to freeway, close to shopping and gas.
Positives: pillow top matress, completely redecorated rooms
Negatives: close to the railroad tracks
