We pulled in and registered without looking at the campgrounds. The owner did seem nice enough and had tried to call me but was calling my home number so I did not get his message that his hot water pipe had busted so therefore there was not any hot water. We decided to stay anyway as it was getting close to dark and did not want to find another campgrounds that had space for a tent. The way into the campgrounds is narrow and pretty bumpy, there are not a lot of sites in the campgrounds itself, and it is pretty rundown. To give an example there is rotted wood nailed to trees to use as a table at one of the sites we looked at. (my grand-daughter called it a stalkers playground) We checked out the bathrooms, they looked dirty, old, and in disrepair, the flooring looked like you could fall through it in places. There were two other rv's at the campgrounds one of them was very old and had weeds growing around it. Not sure if anyone was actually staying in that camper. The other one looked as though it was inhabited. We decided that we did not feel safe or comfortable staying at this campground and went down the road to find another one. I think if you like rustic and do not need to use the bathrooms it may work for you.

Positives: rustic area before you enter the campgrounds. Owner seemed nice.

Negatives: campground very old and not in very good shape.
