We came very close to canceling our reservation upon driving on to the hotel lot. The parking area was in bad shape. It gave us a negative feeling about the place. The first room we were given was unclean, the furniture had seen a better day, and the lighting was very dim. My wife was ready to leave. We thought of canceling and going to some other motel. We called the front desk and asked for a
different room. It was better but still not what we expected.
Positives: The breakfast they offered was not bad.
Negatives: The first room we were given was terrible. There were spots on the bedspread. The furniture was badly marked up and dated.

Hotel staff was great and helpful. The guy who was over breakfast in the morning was really great and always had a smile on his face. He kept all the food stocked and warm and was helpful if you had any questions. The room was quiet and so comfortable. We loved the bathroom and the new modern look the rooms and bathrooms have been remodeled with. It was GREAT!
Positives: Was a lot nicer than expected. Beautiful remodeled rooms. Great breakfast!
Negatives: Nothing! We loved staying there.

Nice little town, motel was more than sufficient for a one night stay and loved the little restaurant next door.
Positives: Pleasant surprise and clean for the most part.
Negatives: Lots of stairs.

The overall hotel facilities and amenities meet expectations and the hotel staff was good to work with. The cleanliness of the dinning facility could be improved upon, but overall nice continental breakfast and service. I would continue to stay here and recommended it to others.
Positives: The staff was friendly and attentive.
Negatives: The additional dinning area was not as clean as expected.

The Red Hills Best Western is an adequate motel for an overnight stay, but I would not recommend staying there for a long period of time. The motel seemed outdated and dingy. There were bugs all over the window and curtains, and there was an unclean smell in the room.
Positives: Easy to find.
Negatives: There were a lot of bugs on the curtains, and the bathroom was not very clean.

We were on the main floor in the main building. Parking was convenient to our room and so was the breakfast buffet and office. The buffet was better than most 2 star breakfast buffets.
Positives: The maintenance was professional, the bedding was in new condition, and everything worked.
Negatives: No complaints.

We have stayed several times. For the cost it is a good basic place to stay. The breakfast is always very good with hot foods, waffles, eggs, etc. Staff is very friendly/helpful. The rooms are pretty clean. Common areas, stairs, halls often are not clean. Badly needs a decor update. Rooms and other areas are vintage 1980's - dark and dimly lit.
Positives: The breakfast was very good!
Negatives: Decor throughout is dark and dated. Common areas dirty.

see above
Positives: Spacious rooms.
Negatives: The toilet did not flush! Water was cut off and I had to use a waste paper bin to fill the reservoir w/ water. Car park looked like a building site!

If I knew what this place looked like I would not have stayed. The floors were dirty and not feeling that you dared to sit anywhere that was scrubbed clean.
Positives: Continental breakfast.
Negatives: Not clean, not felt safe.

Sink was clogged; door card key machine did not work properly- card had to be inserted several times to open door.
Positives: On main highway; easy access.
Negatives: Ticket stubs needed for continental breakfast.

My daughter and I stayed at the Red Hills Best Western. It has a wonderful location, the room we had was clean, and the beds were comfortable and thought it was a great value for the dollar. The staff there was very friendly, helpful and a delight to deal with. The negatives were that the hotel is older, the decor is a bit dated and the breakfast room location is downstairs and kind of shabby. The quality of the breakfast was better than the Hampton that I had stayed at the previous night and paid double the price I paid at this hotel. So overall it was a great value and would definitely stay there again.
Positives: The rooms were very clean and huge. Beds were comfortable.
Negatives: Decor in halls was really worn and dated - location of breakfast area was not good.

When I go to a motel, I need a comfortable bed and a shower. The rest of the time I'm out experiencing the surroundings. Not being able to use the shower was frustrating. We were given another room, which was inconvenient to move. That room not only didn't have hot water, the heater didn't work. It was very cold snow on the ground outside a heater and a hot shower are a must. We should have been told about the problem when we checked in.
Positives: It was clean, affordable, close to Zion National Park, breakfast was awesome!
Negatives: There was no hot water and the heater didn't work.

As said above, staff was very helpful, the breakfast provided was better than some of the higher priced hotels. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel and will use it again in the future when we travel that way.
Positives: Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast provided was great.
Negatives: The entrance into the hotel is a little steep but otherwise the place was fine.

The outside was nothing special but the room was great, we would return there if we were to return to Kanab.
Positives: New bedding, new carpet, very, very comfy bed, barks great.
Negatives: There was nothing we didn't like.

It was a very comfortable place to stay, but it needs a little more parking space. Overall, it was very enjoyable. I particularly liked the little refrigerator in the room.
Positives: Conveniently located, and was overall comfortable and quiet, especially at night.
Negatives: The beds were a little to soft. I like a hard bed.

Rooms ok and clean, but overall it looked a bit worn out. Breakfast room closed promptly at 08:30. No dining facilities (everything in Kanab closes early, so do not plan a late dinner!)
Positives: Location in middle of town. Friendly staff.
Negatives: A bit worn out overall.

It was a very horrid experience. The room was filthy. My husband had to go to a store to buy cleaning supplies. I had to clean the room! The carpet had large burns rings all over. The bed cover had holes in it. It was just horrible.
Positives: Nothing.
Negatives: It was filthy, smelly, had burns in carpet and bed covers.

Everything was adequate.
Positives: Located right on the highway/main street in town.
Negatives: Everything was adequate.

In general, it seemed like a nice motel. However, I requested a first floor smoking room and instead received a second floor room (at 63 you should not have to lug two heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs). The housekeeping service in my room was poor, in fact, one day it was missed altogether and on other days I had to rinse out my coffee pot and go to the desk clerk to request coffee. I know the floor in my room was vacuumed once but not too many other times.
Positives: Friendly, courteous desk clerks.
Negatives: Poor, poor housekeeping in my room.
