The dbl room we were given originally did not have Internet service. Apparently several rooms on the 2nd floor had the same problem. We were moved to another room (king executive room) down the hall. The room was large but the king bed was so soft. We kept rolling to the center! And one morning they ran out of orange juice 30 min. before breakfast bar was suppose to close.

Positives: Room was very clean.

Negatives: King bed was too soft.

Very nice hotel; better than expected for a 2-star. Nice amenities, including free internet & free breakfast.

The staff was friendly and helpful. I was a bit annoyed to arrive in the evening and a larger trailer had been allowed to park across several parking spaces and there was nowhere to park. It seems like they could accommodate bigger trucks like that with a leasing arrangement the nearby shopping center instead of letting them take over the parking lot.

Negatives: Small, cramped parking lot.

The hotel was friendly and clean. The rooms were kinda small and I expected a refrigerator & microwave in the room.

Positives: The hotel was clean and the people were friendly and it was located next to a Red Lobster.

Negatives: The hotel seemed small and it really did not have enough room for two business adults to do their work or study for the next day.

No vending machines or ice machines on 2nd floor. Kids very noisy in the pool area. Security very light. Room was adequate. Needs better management. Breakfast selection very poor.

The hotel was in a great location, a mall next to it and plenty of restaurants around it. The beds were great pillow top! There was a clean indoor pool, and a great breakfast was included in the price. You can't beat that for the price!

My stay at the Fairfield inn of Victoria, TX was so enjoyable. Loved the beds and all the pillows. Loved the fact that it was a non-smoking facility. Will be sure to stay there on my next visit.

Positives: The beds were awesome. Liked the fact that it was non smoking.

Negatives: There was nothing that I did not like about this hotel.

Nothing on the website says that they don't take pets, so be careful. The motel is nonsmoking, which Isis, a surly and ignorant clerk, said was a city ordinance. Not true. No instructions for the wireless, it takes almost 10 minutes to connect. Telephone did not work during entire stay, we called to ask it be repaired at least 4 times, and it was never fixed. We had expensive computer equipment in the room, so we refused maid service; the maids were switching the towels and sheets with us. On the 6th day, Isis calls and tells us that it was first a city ordinance, then a state law, that we allow them to clean. Then she told us that our room had to be cleaned before noon because the housekeeping staff goes home at noon. This person seems to be a pathological liar. We later spoke to the day manager, who told us that Isis was lying to us, as if we didn't already know that. We ended up leaving the motel ahead of schedule. This Isis person infuriated us at every turn with her 'legal opinions'. This woman should really go back to cleaning rooms, she should never have contact with the public¿s would recommend that the Fairfield be avoided unless you enjoyed being bullies and lied to.

Positives: An excellent continental breakfast.

Negatives: The staff, particularly Isis, lied to us continually!

We had a great time. The management at the hotel was incredible. Especially the young man named Joseph. Please send him my appreciation. The room was awful. Mold in the restroom, dirty, etc. It appears that they are showing name brand and then sticking you in a cheap-cheap-cheap place. Thanks for your excellence.

Positives: Joseph at the front desk was awesome! My 8 year old said, "I really like that nice man."

Negatives: It was a little challenge to enter and exit with only one entry/exit near a major intersection.

Upon arrival to hotel, I had a copy of paid receipt, the clerk was rude and insisted that I needed to pay with a credit card or they would not check me in. Finally a manager showed and again I stood at counter waiting for her to call their corp. office to verify payment. 30 min total before I could check in and was very upset over the treatment.

Positives: Bed was comfy- pillows awesome- breakfast great.

Negatives: Hassled about payment and was not friendly at first.
