The room was clean and smoke free. There were a few small things that could have been better. But it was in the process of being upgraded so it will most likely get fixed. It was pet friendly. It was easy to find and to get in and out off. Very well lit up at night and easy excess to restaurants and Wall-Mart. It had truck parking. Easy in and out.
Positives: It was clean, pet friendly, quiet, easy to get to and had truck parking that was easy in and out.
Negatives: The breakfast, could have been better.

Wonderful resort! We liked it so much we bought a timeshare there!
Positives: Was very nice and had a lot to offer.
Negatives: Found garbage in the ice holder and the ice machine didn't even work.

This hotel is one that I would recommend to others for the price. I was very comfortable as was the atmosphere. I did notice that management was in the process of upgrading furnishings, but it in no ways disturbed my stay.
Positives: It's proximity to the places I had to visit.
Negatives: There was nothing that was displeasing to me.

I chose our room because it was supposed to have a sofa sleeper which it did not. Our room was also on the back of the hotel and the parking nearest our room was not lighted well. Overall the hotel on the backside had an unsafe feel which worried me to leave my car parked there over night. The free breakfast the next morning had about three items on it and two of them were cereal!
Positives: It was easy to get to in Tyler.
Negatives: It was dirty looking.

Our daughter arrived first. The clerk could not find our reservations. He refused to take our confirmation numbers on our cell phone. He told my daughter he was only doing her a favor to allow them to go ahead and check in since we were still about 20 minutes away on the other side of town. Evidently a lady was the manager and told the young man to check her family into a room. They were quite nice to us when we arrived later.
Positives: Convenient to our destination.
Negatives: Rudeness of the first desk clerk.

Overall this is a great place to stay for this star rating. Convenient access to downtown or major roads. Large parking area for trailers and such. Looks remodeled recently, within a couple of years. Very friendly staff, security cameras throughout, and good rooms make this a good for the money place to stay.
Positives: Convenient access to major roads, friendly staff, nice place.
Negatives: No quick access to ice or vending machines.

Very friendly staff, good location, great for one night stop, some rooms off the main highway so you don't hear all the traffic.
Positives: Refrigerator in the room. Clean bathroom, good location.
Negatives: Smelled of old smoker, ice machine on 2nd floor didn't work.

The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we had was clean, but this hotel is really more appropriate for the trucking industry, not the leisure traveler - too far from the main city of Tyler.
Positives: Front office staff very friendly and helpful.
Negatives: Junky car in the parking lot that never moved, pool not useable didn't like the dumpster just outside my door.

When we arrived they could not find the reservation, pool was cloudy, we were warned as we walked upstairs to be careful of the rail as it may not have been welded back yet, vents off many air conditioners outside of rooms, rooms did not appear very clean, not good part of Tyler, Texas and see above for extra comments.
Positives: The hotel clerk was very nice about us deciding not to stay at that hotel.
Negatives: Machines had to be inside so no one would break in, not clean or aesthetic, refused to tent to locals.
